As many times as I have passed Perino's on Veterans I had no idea they had a store inside the garden center you could shop at. It's like hiding a gift shop inside of a plant store. They had baby clothes, furniture, hats, jewelry, clothes, etc .

I never went to Perino's. I went to Lowe's garden center. (Unless Perino's is in Lowe's.)
Perino’s Home & Garden Center is a family-owned and operated plant nursery in Metairie, Louisiana. We were founded in 1949 by WWII veteran Salvador “Sam” Perino Sr. on the corner of Carrollton and Claiborne as a fruit market. In 1955, Perino’s moved to its current location and began growing quality plant material 45 minutes away in the Covington area. The facility rapidly expanded to 300,000 square feet of heated greenhouse space and 10 acres of outdoor growing space with the help of the second generation. We strive to service the New Orleans area by providing the finest selection of quality, locally grown plants. Our Louisiana plant store is also a home goods store offering the highest quality furniture, home decor, clothing, and gifts.
