Ideal Market #9 is a well-organized and cleaned store with amazing vibes. It offers the best prices in New Orleans, with relatively cheap produce and super cheap chicken. The meat is always fresh and beautiful, and they have amazing fresh quality fruits and a hot deli. Customer service is amazing, with very friendly and accommodating staff at the deli and from the cashiers, offering hospitality at its finest. The store is very well decor throughout and has plenty of parking. It features a coinstar and a bank kiosk for transactions. The place makes you remember your country of origin. A downside is that the dining area is outside on benches. Also, no one seems to speak English, so be prepared. On rare occasions, a piece of produce like watermelon might be spoiled.
This place is really nice. The people on staff at the deli area were so friendly and accommodating even though I didn't speak very good Spanish. Produce is relatively cheap depending on what you get. Small avocados are 89¢ each. Chicken was super cheap. I bought two pounds of chicken legs for less than $3.

NO ONE seems to speak English so be prepared to use a translator app. Would give 5 stars if they were versatile with language. The Meat is always fresh and beautiful!
