“There’s always that one store in a community that sells alcohol to minors. Well…a few times I’ve walked in on a weekend night and kids that looked 16 loaded the counter with a wide range of alcoholic beverages. No doubt they were using their parents credit cards and probably being charged a 100% markup ?. Also, they don’t turn the freezer to the proper temp as I bought a king cone ice cream bar, and it was melted. However, the owner and employees are pretty cool and will give you a bag (if you ask for one) ?”

“If you're not familiar with Aldi, they're a small grocery store. You have to use a quarter to get a shopping cart, which you get back if you put the cart back in line with the others. They have weekly ads that have some really good prices. Aldi has a couple of aisles devoted to seasonal decor. I've yet to find the place overly crowded. There are self checkouts, and you have to pay for bags or bring your own. Give it a shot. I think you'll like it.”
“Love it! One of my must stops when i visit from shreveport.this stop, i was hoping to acquire a dong phong king cake, and they did not let me down! I have not seen the new building and it is definitely diffrent.i loved this place when it looked old and had character. I like to hit the grocery stores i liked when i lived here, and i like to pick up items i can't get in shreveport. Their prices are great, and i love still seeing the older crowd coming here. Remember, if the older folks like it, it's got to be great!?”
