“Welcome to another episode of the Food in the Hood Chronicle.I'll start by saying, this place is located in one of the shadier parts of town, so do be careful.Upon walking in, I was warmly greeted by both fellow customers and the friendly staff. The atmosphere had a comforting southern vibe, and the food was presented cafeteria-style. My initial intention was to order the yakamein, but I was far too hungry to wait for it to be made, so I opted for something quicker.It was apparent that some of the dishes had been sitting out for a while, so my advice would be to give them a good stir to freshen up their appearance.Selecting my meal took a little while because there were so many tempting options. It was clear that a lot of care had been put into the offerings. The person behind the counter exhibited excellent customer service, patiently helping me navigate the menu and even providing some small talk and recommendations.In the end, I settled on the following: Lasagna spaghetti, Chicken and potatoes, salt and pepper chicken wings, and boneless fried chicken. I opted to get it to go, as I didn't want to dine in the area.The Lasagna spaghetti was actually pretty good. It was seasoned well, and I particularly enjoyed the simple cheese topping and the generous amount of meat. The other dishes were also seasoned well. The boneless chicken could use a sauce to make it better. The only downside was that some of the items were a bit on the greasy side.In summary, Quick N Karry is a decent place to grab a quick meal, offering a good quantity of food for the price. Is it a culinary gem? Not exactly. But it serves its purpose well as a quick food spot with plenty of options. So, if you're looking for variety and value, it's worth a visit.”

However, I was having trouble getting the coupons to register in the Walgreens system.The ladies at the front registers (Ms. Dynish Jones and Ms. Phaedra Johnson) were such a great help. They were very patient, courteous and professional. They took their time and made it work out for me. “Cashier pro-actively changing receipt roll at my pump before it ran out.Nice to see.One downside: their pump system computer predates the ability to use Walmart+ Scan for their gasoline (as Walmart claims).The helpful employee apologized to me and I used a credit card to pay, but it cost me an extra 5% kickback (the reason I pulled in there) from Walmart+ on that day. Just a heads up…”

“The only complaint I have is that the icee machines are never fully operational and the same goes with the fountain drinks. Also they have issues with the cups,lids and straws. Either cup but no lids to fit or lids with no cup to fit or have to ask for straws and lids...kinda aggravating when u have ur mind set on an ice cold drink or icee on a blistering hot day...”
