We love it but it definitely needed a remodel because time has affected her and that is exactly what they are doing and WE APPRECIATE THAT! Front desk is awesome as usual and super helpful and nice. The breakfast is honestly why we keep coming back! Like I said, our kids grew up coming here and now their kids come here and we all love eating breakfast by the fireplace! Just stayed there last night because my son wanted to go to a "nice room" to finish celebrating his birthday week!! It was being remodeled so there is your warning! But its great so just be happy they are updating it and stay positive!”

The people at the front desk were very nice & friendly. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay for the price.Rooms: Nice, roomy & cleanWalkability: It’s right across the street from the Cajundome & stadium.”

125 E Kaliste Saloom Rd, Lafayette“Perfectly Fine location for a nights stay when you’re traveling.Mitzi at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and accommodating for us.The rooms, like most Best Westerns I have stayed in, are very clean but slightly outdated and the bathrooms always feel rushed and you can feel some fixtures wobble with a slight push. Other than that, everything was perfectly fine.If you want some nearby food. You CANNOT miss Bon Temps Grill for dinner and Hub City Diner for lunch.Safety: Area felt completely safe. I was on a 3 week long road trip during my stay here and it was one of the safer feeling locations we stayed in.Walkability: Not A Very Walkable Area. Probably best to have a car or expect to Uber unless you want to walk to just a couple of nearby spots.”

2615 Cameron St, Lafayette“The manger is a great guy. He has helped so many people out including me and my family. Haven't really got to meet the owners personally. They do seem like nice people though. Rooms are the cheapest around for both nightly and weekly rates. The rooms are a lil small and not that very nice, but for the rates they charge I feel you get your monies worth.”

210 Kaliste Saloom Rd, Lafayette“The room was no good unfortunately. I thought the cleaning service cleaned these rooms after people checkout. We checked into the room for a one night stay late, and the room was dirty. Trash was still in the cans and no clean towels. We already moved our stuff into the room and it's close to midnight so who wants to change rooms at that point? Just a huge inconvenience. Please do better.”
“Newly remodeled. Person running front desk was very nice and helpful. Neighborhood leaves a little to be desired but that's not the hotels fault. Great price but the security deposit was a little excessive.”

“Ive been staying here off and on for. Close to a year now. Someday it's wonderful and some days you have the people that cause all the rif raff. I do stay here often because I know as a single woman they do watch out for me and put me in rooms where Im safe pretty much next to the front office or there's a camera next to my room and they watch those cameras. Yea some people are a little different here but I've made some great friends here and they're as real as anybody you could ever ask for. The front desk people are great esp Ms Theresa!! Always looks out for the customers staying at the motel. From the outside you'd never guess but the rooms need touching up but are clean!! Sheets are always clean and the new beds are comfy.Rooms: Rooms need some new paint and some updated furnitureNearby activities: They have grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants and churches..all within walking distanceSafety: Not in the safest part of town but I've learned stay to yourself and they don't mess with you.Walkability: Everything is in a good walking distance.Food & drinks: No food or drinks are served but if you go to the desk Ms Theresa will give you some goodies and snacks!”
“This hotel is in a great spot of downtown Lafayette. There are great staff members such as Ms. Romona and Mr. Steven. Whomever the lady was at the front counter on the evening of New Years Eve, she was a complete prude. My friends and I have been attending The Juliet for about 4 years now on New Years Eve and have loved it ever since, however with this employee she made us feel as though we shouldn’t have been here and we were an inconvenience. This employee felt as though we were disturbing the peace and even called law enforcement on my friends and I. Once the law enforcement showed up, they came to our room and held a conversation with us. The police realized nothing was wrong and left the room without anything being done. Later during the night, a friend and I had to walk to the car to get everything we needed to stay the night. We got to the front counter and she exclaimed that we needed to use the back door and it would only work unless we had a room key because the front door was locked, she was very rude about it. We got back to the room and everything was fine. It was just the fact that we have never been treated like this by any employee of the Juliet. Towards the end of the night the employee made us feel as though it was a chore for her to be working at the hotel. This woman is clearly upset with something going on in her personal life as takes it out on her customers which is very unprofessional. Ms. Ramona has always showed us nothing but the best of customer service, props to her.Walkability: My friends and I rented a suite at Rock N Bowl across the street.”
