“Very straight forward without much wait. I may have preferred them over the one in the rental car center (with airport shuttle,) since they had more than one rep at a time. We only had to find our way there from the to the airport ourselves which was a little bit of a hassle but no big deal. The rest of everything else was quick and efficient.”

Mike I don't know if he is the gm but he should teach classes on customer service. Got me in and out in 15 minutes. Was polite answered all my questions without a attitude. “Customer service is the only reason I give 5 stars. Brandon and Rhonda Lynn were awesome. We were rather upset that we got a phone call 45 minutes before scheduled pick up time informing us that only electric cars were available but Brandon helped us to understand EVs since we knew nothing about them. Someone ended up returning a good old fashioned gas powered vehicle early and Brandon got it to us so that we would feel better about renting. He even personally cleaned the car for us. If it had not been for Brandon, we would have gone elsewhere even though we would have missed out on the 35 percent off. Customer service is a huge deal for us. Brandon and Rhonda Lynn are definitely great examples of what customer service should be.”
“we got a wheelchair for my mom who is visiting from out of town so we could take her to downtown New Orleans and show her Jackson square, and City Park. They were very friendly , quick, and I was able to return the wheelchair after hours at the subway restaurant next door.”
“Renting cars post pandemic has become a nightmare. I expected to have a similar experience here but to my surprise, it was a smooth process from picking up the rental and dropping it off. The owner and the workers at this location are fantastic. I was given a courtesy call the day prior and informed that the rental would be late getting to the location and that I would receive a call to pick it up when it became available. As promised, I was called the next morning and was able to pick it up on time. Previous rental car agencies didn't bother to contact me to let me know they didn't have a rental car available at all despite booking weeks in advance. Needless to say, I will definitely rent again from this location.”
“The downtown rental car spot is as real as New Orleans. This is not a luxury car rental thing here. This is real New Orleans people renting real New Orleans cars. Go to the big places and hope they didn’t mess up your reservation (which happens to me a lot) or, if you are in New Orleans and can go to the Downtown location you will know what it’s like to live in a place where a local car rental shop still survives. The car was a Corolla with under $100k miles, not 6 month old auction fodder.More of a place for the adventurer than the tourist, amazing resource as a local. Deposits at car rental places are all over the place, this one is on the high side but they have to be.”
“PART 1 / My car is held up at the shop with repairs so I was looking for an economical alternative for transportation. I ran across Ace on the net and decided to give them a go. The daily rate was far less than anyone that I priced. The New Orleans office price was far less than the airport and I can understand why. With all due respect, the New Orleans office is pretty sketchy in a sketchy part of town. Nonetheless, a good price is a good price. When I got there, Emile and Rachel were there to meet me and were very friendly and professional. In no time, I was on my way.
READ THE BASIC CONDITIONS OF THE RENTAL!!! There is a 200 mile radius limit. Don't take the vehicle out of state if you aren't supposed to. Etc.... If you aren't reading the rental stipulations, then it's your fault.
