“I'm a diamond member that travels cross country for work. I've had the pleasure of coming to this location on at least four different occasions as my "go to spot." Overall the staff take care of your problems, majority friendly and overall professional establishment. I will constantly go back here for work. I give this place a 8/10 for being safe, reliable and friendly.

Majority of guests are going to be day/night shift workers who are going to the plants on a turnaround. The only time this place was packed was during a LSU game for affordable pricing.

Biggest mentions:
Please try to check in with the front desk staff over the phone or in-person instead of using a third party service. This happen on my first time check-in and the third party completely got the wrong dates for my arrival - 90 minute phone call to try and fix the problem. The third party is more expensive as well.

I would extended stay every 7 days - the management gave me the best rate for non-refundable and refundable when requested. There were times I needed to stay for over a month with no problems being a welcomed guest.

Had a TV not work in a room, the management had it replaced immediately. The management will power wash windows so they are keeping the business clean and presentable. House Keeping are friendly and reliable.

On numerous occasions at this hotel, there's a woman that runs the breakfast - she does a decent job, yet I think she's getting too relaxed at work to realize how rude she's being at random times. Women have asked if their is coffee to her rude response "of course there is coffee" I don't think she means to be a jerk - but she says it confused as in "this is breakfast isn't it." again, she doesn't have an attitude, she's just not polite by accident. Another woman has mentioned are you out of coffee? to which instead of checking and replacing the coffee - it starts off by pretty much telling the guest are you sure you know what you're doing. Women are eye rolling at times. She'll get on her phone and talk to someone while you're trying to enjoy the hot breakfast. On the plus side she's doing an excellent job with breakfast. The food is eggs, sausage, pastries, waffles, drinks.

I requested the first floor for military handicap reasons, to which there was not a room available - I had no problem going to the third floor except my anxiety was building up. I check the rooms before I move in - the door would not shut properly to make sure your room was locked without extra attention. I went to the front desk to where the gentleman checked the door and allowed me to move rooms. He suddenly did have something on the first floor to which I could transfer. I tipped him in thanks.

On another occasion I just got off a tiring night shift - the front desk was super friendly reminding me on my way in the lobby that I had a checkout at 11am this morning. I completely forgot and he saved me the trouble of being woken up and dealing with the mess. I tipped him again.

The laundry room is a third party service to where I couldn't call the phone number and get a response to a complaint that a machine was paid for, did not wash my clothes and I had to pay for extra wash and dry. I told the manager to which she said she'd call for a service repair. I tried to let her know that I think the machine is fine, it's more that I can't get my money back. I'm not sure if this was overlooked or she didn't understand - but it never got resolved for me. She certainly did not blow me off. The machine probably got looked at - but a customer never got his money back.

The variety of places to eat is low. Having a jambalaya eatery next door is nice once a week. A gas station subway is the only health, and some fast food junk (burgerking, tacobell). Luckily there's a”
