I bought an iPad that I was told I can return within 60 days because I am a Best Buy total member. I even asked the store clerk if I had 60 days- she said yes just a $35 restocking fee.
Today I went to return it - 23 days later. Return policy said 14 days because it was a cellular device.
First off- I didn’t even ask to buy the cellular activated one. Second off- I specifically asked for the return policy of the device and was told 60 days. Even if the computer can’t scan it SURELY there is a way to mitigate the situation at a store level.
I am trying my best to file a formal complaint to corporate because this is unacceptable especially when I was proactive and asked about the return policy before buying.

I've spend my last penny in this store. Best Buy is the next Circuit City dinosaur. When you have an issue with something you bought here they say to call the manufacturer. It's ok bc prices aren't very good here anyway.

This store needs to close. I made an online purchase for curbside pickup. When order was ready, I proceeded to the store and checked in. It was not busy, but no one came out. I checked in again. After a total of waiting 15-20 minutes, I canceled the order. I would’ve gone in but was running a fever and chose the no contact option.
This is par for the course at this location. Not sure hire they remain in business. ??

Honestly I’m at the point where I’ll never shop at this Best Buy again. It’s always something when you deal with this store in particular and the managers have no idea what customer service is. Time to join the rest of the country and just start shopping online at Amazon. Sad day for me as I’ve been a Best Buy supporter for 20 years. I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone.

Go to Geek Squad to see about repairing my laptop. Tell the guy to let me know if the cost of repair is greater than replacing it. He tells me to go over and look at the laptops in the store. I go over and they send this young inexperienced guy to tell me about the laptops. I ask the young guy how much for everything, the highest price. Young guy says $1600 total for the most expensive laptop, a SD for storage, and software for the computer. I say cool. Didn't choose the most expensive or the cheapest laptop. Got something in the middle. Walked over to check out where I was told I could open up a credit card account to pay for everything with zero interest for a year. Makes sense. Then I'm told the laptop only has a manufacturer warranty and that I would need to purchase another warranty for the laptop in case it is ever dropped or you spill something on it for an additional almost $200 (actual price $179/year) and it was only for one year. When I got the total after taxes, before the warranty, it was $1343. I told them there was no way I was going to drop $1400 and have to pay an additional $200 just for a one year warranty. That it better come with a warranty already for in case ANYTHING happens to it for that price. I made them put everything back and walked away. The man at Geek Squad was supposed to transfer all my data from the old laptop to the external hard drive for a service fee of $100 and a product fee of $80. Epic fail!!! They only had one document and some downloads from the old computer. I'm very upset with the service.

Came in to purchase a laptop on site. Waited for over 10 minutes without being greeted or helped. Everything is locked up. You can't buy it without an associate. Not a good look BB

Do not pay for total tech, they will not fix it or honor their commitment. Purchased a TV and payed for total tech to have it installed and BEST BUY HAS CANCELED OR NOT SHOWN UP TO FIX IT. Contact tech support via messenger and they advised me to bring the TV to my local Best Buy to which the geek squad and management said “they are short handed” and can’t help me. I am a disable veteran that struggles with removing the TV to bring in only to be told they can’t help me. I have called 3 difrent departments. No one cares no says they are sorry. Worst place of business ever. I will never purchase and item again from Best Buy!!!!!!!

I’m extremely frustrated with my experience at Best Buy in Covington. I've been a customer of Best Buy for 10 years and this is the first time that happen to me. I purchased a Lenovo Legion Go, but when I opened the box at home in New Orleans, I found a Nintendo Switch case and two rocks inside. Additionally, there was no charger, and the seal on the box was different from what it should have been. When I called customer service, they told me I couldn’t return it at any nearby store and had to drive back to Covington, a 50-minute trip. After returning to the store, the supervisor, Stephen, informed me that I needed to contact Lenovo and wait for them to review security footage, a process that could take a significant amount of time. Despite spending 30 minutes waiting and expressing my dissatisfaction, they refused to replace the item and told me to come back the next day. This level of incompetence and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable. Be aware that If you buy something in this store even though It's new or properly seal please before you leave check inside the box you might be a frustrated If you found out the Item are different or someone put a stone to put some weight on it. And you will not gonna be able to return it.
