We had an issue today that with the weather I was concerned about. Rachel took the call personally, spent time to stay on the line as we troubleshooted and assisted with possible solutions for almost an hour. She was kind, concerned and made me feel at ease during a frustrating moment. Her customer service is above and beyond, so appreciative of her efforts- there are not many people like her! The general manager Frank helped us at the paint counter & was super knowledgeable about the different paints. He was friendly and prompt with service. Other associates had personal knowledge of the other products available, and didn’t rely on the computer for inventory—they actually went to look and helped us find what we needed.This hardware store is a bit longer of a drive from us than Lowe’s & Home Depot, but I will gladly drive the extra 10 minutes for this store—they’re definitely the “helpful place”!!”
“I always have a good experience at the Nicholasville Lowes. Someone always is able to help me when I need help. I stopped in close to their closing time (happened to be driving by) to pick up a special order kitchen cabinet. Three people bent over backwards to help me: Jayla, Neisha, and Michelle. This was beyond good customer service. This is the kind of response I expect from this Lowes, but the level of service on this particular evening was over the top. I promise to come in earlier from now on. FYI - The cabinet fit perfectly.”

“I have been doing business here since the late 70's. I am a contractor and this is the best place in the Commonwealth to get building supplies. They also have a great old school hardware store. Prices for building projects are almost always cheaper than Lowes, Home Depot and the other construction supply businesses in the central Kentucky area.Trex decking can be found here and orders for trex usually arrive in a couple days after ordering.The entire staff seems like they really care for their customers. I don't know what I would do without Stratton Lumber Company.”
