“The cleanest family dollar (or frankly dollar store) that I’ve seen in all my time in Ohio and Kentucky. Organized, well lit, clean, the staff was helpful and the people who were shopping were even nice (which is none of their business but I had a nice experience). Alexandra helped me at checkout, she was great, and the guy in front of me said “on a scale of 1-10 I give her an 11”. I have zero complaints it was a great time. I’m sure I’ll be back.”

“The store is a great store if you just need to run in for something forgotten or needed for a quick meal or a unexpected gift or last minute ideas. It has a lot of items crammed into a small space. It is clean just cluttered. It is some what organized and full of items.”

“I had picked up something that was wrongfully priced. I scanned it and when I realized it was double what the shelf had stated, I asked the employee if she could cancel my transaction because many business won’t uphold the wrongfully advertised price. They honored that the shelf priced it wrong and gave it to me for that price! 10/10 customer service”

“It's just like any other Family Dollar location throughout the country. This particular one is located in a mostly abandoned shopping center, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't kind of worried that I was going to blow out a tire or break an axle in the parking lot that is in terrible shape. “Madison Pike has had long term maintenance issues. Our store hadA/C ALL of 2022. It was ridiculous. Misery for staff, often had to close early & wasted TONS instead of corp fixing it. It was the kind staff our community returned for. I hope DG corp steps up for their employees-especially our store- or sells the company to someone who will. The staff & community deserve responsible owners. Stuey thinks they're fantastic too.”
“Ok, so after my horrible experience at ACE Hardware I still needed a small flower pot and spray bottle. I saw Dollar Tree and thought I'd see if they could meet my needs and they were able. Ok they lose a star since the store was a bit messy but the people working there were knowledgeable and very helpful. The staff gets 5 stars! If you don't need a shovel try there first!”

“I shop at both dollar general next door and family dollar! Dollar general is rarely open because of being short staffed and they have more inventory in the aisles then on the shelves. While at family dollar James who is older and disabled is always there and their aisles are clear! In a society where healthy people sit and bum with cardboard signs James works his tail off almost everyday! No excuses people! This man is an inspiration to many and your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed! God bless you James keep up the hard work!”

“Overall, this is a perfectly fine Family Dollar. It serves its purpose as a dollar store perfectly. But what I think is great about here is the people. The other day I had to buy a lot of helium balloons to celebrate my sister and her amazing volleyball team. And the clerks in the store were so kind and ego to help and extraordinarily patient with me. So I give this place full marks for those staff members.”
