“I had a wonderful first-time western apparel shopping experience with George, Patty (the owners) and their staff. Extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful staff guiding me through all the intrinsics of western clothing. I found their prices to be really good and they even had some additional offers on boots, shirts and belts among things.
While I ended up buying my first Steteson hat at their outlet store in Joseph, next time around I'll buy it from George and Patty. Also look forward to buy my next set of Ariat boots from them when I come to visit Kansas City.
While it's a small store, they have a big selection and they are more than happy to order home anything you want at a competitive price.”
“5/5 stars for Jamie - she was my saving grace for finding a MOH dress! She was very patient with me and listened to everything I said. She checked every dress before I tried it on to make sure I could get it in the color and by the time of the wedding.
2/5 on my experience before finding Jamie. I could only find my size or a close size in 3 dresses. All the others were size 4 or size 18. Need more size options… very defeating! This was my 4th time coming into David’s bridal to find a dress. The first time the lady had me and all the bridesmaids in different fabrics resulting in half us needing to change our dresses. Providing dresses that didn’t come in the fabric or color even after telling her the color and fabric chosen. The second time the lady was the rudest person and didn’t listen to what I wanted at all. I left very defeated and she had me get the completely wrong size. She made me not want to buy from you at all! The 3rd time I was brought a dress and fell in love to find out it didn’t come in the color. They should really check that before having you try on a dress.”

“This is one of the cleanest and most thoroughly stocked DXL stores I have ever been in. The two ladies working there were phenomenal they knew the store and knew what they had. I have recently lost several pounds and needed to update my wardrobe. Jenn was very good at helping me mix and match outfits. Jenn has been with the store six plus years she was a wealth of knowledge I can’t say enough about her and the great service that I received!”
“Found them on a google search when I was looking to get my son get a new board. The owner is a really nice guy and built his board so he didn't have to wait till he got home to ride. Skate shop is located inside of an indoor skate park. Shop has mostly boards but they also carry some tees, hoodies, socks & shoes. They offer a (summer 2023) skate camp & Saturday skate classes. Lots of kids and a few adults skating the day I went in. Nice place, nice owner-Support Local KC Businesses!”

“1st time here. Was happy it was open on a Sunday afternoon. Staff were friendly. 4/5 stars for no bugy/baskets-asked if we could pile items on counter while we continued to shop but we're only offered a canvas bag that didn't meet our needs, so we ended up spending only $200 vs the $2k we budgeted (was buying a few items for ourselves and planned to buy to donate the remainder) the franchise owner, Claudia and her daughter were very nice & familiar with brands/pricing.”
“I know I can trust Johnston & Murphy for an excellent product and excellent service. I stopped by the new store in the Kansas City Airport (MCI), and met briefly with the sales rep John. He respected my limited time and shared his knowledge and experience with different shoe models to help me find something comfortable and stylish. “They had a pretty good selection of clothes. The prices were ok and they had some sales going on which seems to be the norm. We weren't bothered as we browsed around the store either. Sometimes when your at a place in the mall the sales people are on you like a hawk, but not this place. They just left us alone until we had a question. When we did have a question about the product they were quick to respond with the best of answers. They seemed very friendly and knowledgeable about the products that they were carrying. I still think that this place is one of the most popular places to go for this kind of shopping. I can honestly say that you won't be dissatisfied with your own trip to this location. We now have added this place to our own little list of must visit shops.”

“I arrived 30 minutes before closing. I had great customer service from the moment I walked in. I asked a few questions. I was also asked a few questions. And within mom6i was trying on new boots. I was able to make my purchase, despite bad weather shutting down the electronics at the home office. I think I still managed to get back out before closing time. I very highly recommend getting your work boots here!”
“I expected to see a better quality or class of womens attire and accessories. Nothing unique with high prices. It didn’t stand out. They did have sales on dresses that were affordable but very little in my size. A difference in price I saw in a handbag compared to a clone at Marshall’s was a 80.00 difference.”
“Employees are great! Helpful and nice. The store on 119th didn't have a pair of shoes my husband wanted, so they checked another store on Quivera. They had the shoes so we drove there. We will probably use the Quivera store from now on. But only because it's closer. And there was a bunch of road construction going on when we went to the 119th store. A 40-minute drive turned into a little over an hour. I know road construction is necessary, but.....”

“Recently I had lost a ton of weight after having a baby. I didn’t know what size I was or what would ever look good on me. I had an important interview coming up and I was so stressed about what I was going to wear. I have zero style and creativity! I walked in and I probably looked like a lost puppy, Kim greeted me and asked if she could help. She quickly found options she think would look good and found multiple options! Shiree jumped in to help style the most beautiful blazer with jewelry and offered advice on what necklace and earrings matched. Aby was my emotional support guide and helped with what shoes what look best and how I should do my hair to rock the interview. I can’t tell you how much these three women helped me and took so much stress off my plate. Why outfits stress me out, I will never know but the confidence they gave me going into the interview is something I will always be grateful for! Thank you ladies again so much. I will be back for more help in the future! ?”
“Wonderful staff! I hadn't bought a suit in a long time and the employees attending the floor/changing room were so very helpful, especially Thong! She answered all of my questions and suggested different styles and colors for me to try on, including blouses, and a belt. She recommended things according to my body type. She regularly checked in on me (and gave her opinion when asked) to see if I wanted a different size or anything of something and then she brought it to me. She asked for my name and referred to it multiple times. I never felt like I was being pushed to purchase anything. She gave me space to try the last pieces of clothing on and to make my decisions. The cashier was equally welcoming. I walked out with items I feel good about! I highly recommend this store!”
