“Dr Senter provided exceptional care to my beloved pet, Shimii. When we saw Dr. Senter my dog, Shimii was suffering from severe skin allergies. She was bald and red, constantly scratching and rubbing herself. It was a distressing sight to witness. However, with Dr. Senters expert guidance and treatment, Shimii's quality of life improved significantly. He helped alleviate her itchiness and provided her with much-needed relief.Last September, we had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to Shimii. It was an incredibly tough time for me, but I found solace in knowing that Shimii had experienced a better quality of life under Dr. Senters care.I have a deep appreciation for the dedication and compassion Dr. Senter and his staff demonstrate day in and day out. “We had never been here before, but recommended to us by our vet, Dr. Geri, who visits our fur babies at our home. Our German Shepherd, Lucy, broke one of her bottom canine teeth, and we needed a vet that provided dental. Dr Geri sure knew where to send us, Fix Hill. From the moment Lilly answered the phone, I had a really good feeling. Lilly was so kind, compassionate and helpful. She said she would talk to Dr Alexander and call me back. Then, to my surprise, Dr Alexander herself called me and talked me through what she would do if we brought Lucy in. She was so kind, compassionate and unhurried in our conversation. She even said, depending on the break in the tooth, we may not need to do anything. To my surprise, they were able to see Lucy that day!Our experience at their office was so wonderful. The team there is just wonderful, they ALL are caring/compassionate and love what they do. They were wonderful with Lucy, and with my son and I. Dr Alexander explained all options, worse to best case scenario for Lucy’s tooth. First thing we need an X-ray. So, we decided to make an appt for teeth cleaning since Lucy will need to be under anesthesia for X-ray and we can do both at that time. This team is excellent. Our experience was a 10 for sure.”

“I wish I could give more stars. Stanley has helped me and my babies so many times.In dec I got home and my great dane had Passed away in its kennel. Stanley stayed open to let me bring him there so he didn’t have to stay at the house for the night. They all wrote a card with condolences and even did a special ribbon for his paw print. I wouldn’t have known what to do if it wasn’t for Stanley.Fast forward to yesterday. One of our dogs hurt her leg. Stanley got us in the same day and did X-rays and splinted it for us. They were so good with her & we’re super quick too I expected to be there forever because we weren’t on schedule and they did all they could to keep my girl comfy.You won’t find a better vet than Stanley maybe cheaper but never better. All the vets and their techs are phenomenal. I couldn’t say thank you enough.”

“Dr. Probst was a little off-putting, and IMO tried to semi-guilt trip me into more expensive testing that I could get performed at my vet within 12 hours when they were opened.That said, I am sure being a night ER vet is tough, and he did let me dictate the appropriate care for my dog in order to stabilize him until his vet opened (fluids and other meds). Besides the $350 walk-in charge (ERs cannot exist for free unfortunately), the prices were actually not that much higher than my vet for the tx we did (although the suggested imaging is 1/4 the price at my vet, so we waited).All in all, $540 on a Sunday night/Mon. AM and probably helped my dog hang on until we could follow-up at his vet later that day. So, I can't complain. Expensive, yes. But got us through. Thank you Dr. Probst and Hawthorne Animal hospital!”

“Superb service. Took my dog there because he was in pain and everyone was so nice and attentive from the moment I step in Taylor was greeting me and being so helpful. Dr. Eberhardy and Kelli were sooo helpful. Explaining everything to me and being so empathic and taking great care of my dog. Lastly Kelli and Casey showed me how to put some ear medicine on my dog and again being so careful and nice. I’m so grateful I took my dog there. You can see how much they care about pets and how much they enjoy doing what they do. THANK YOU ??”

She remembers my dogs and loves on them like her own. We had to put our oldest pup down today and they were so gentle and comforting through the whole process. They have a special room that feels like home and gave us as much time as we needed. We are so lucky to have doctors like these in our lives and so close to our house. We have found a forever home in this vet clinic. I cannot recommend enough.”

“At the height of Covid, I was traveling crosscountry with my dogs when my 11-pound senior dachshund-pomeranian, Quiver, received a laceration very near her eye. I fervently called every vet along my route, and 7 or 8 of them turned me down before I rang Blue Valley Animal Hospital. They took her in, and due to Covid protocol at the time, I waited in my vehicle. I was expecting the bill to be more than $300 because Quiver had a similar injury near her eye in the past, and it had required anesthesia to treat. The doctor was absolutely so kind, comforting, reasonable, and honest—he managed to do a few drops of glue to repair the tear, and I think my bill was no more than $60 that harrowing day. What a relief!! Soooo much gratitude to you, Blue Valley Animal Hospital!!!”

“Dr. Schreiber is phenomenal! I wish people would get this caliber of care from their healthcare providers! Dr. Leimer saw my kitty first and collaborated with Dr. Schreiber on her oral health needs. He performed her surgery. During the procedure he called me several times to keep me updated on how she's doing. He also called me the next day to check on her. She has been in so much pain and wouldn't let us pet her in the area of her head and neck because of her teeth and the amount of pain she was in. Now she's purring, happy and seems to be recovering so well thanks to the wonderful care she received. Thanks to everyone who took care of my little girl at BVAH. We are so grateful. “Cannot recommend this particular location enough! The girls working here are so kind and the process is always so easy. Maddy/Maddie always is so sweet when she does my dog’s initial overview. They offer appts as well as drop offs which has made such a big difference for my schedule and ability to make sure my girl is always up to date and healthy. The front desk girls are so easy to work with and efficient at getting people in and out. And everyone is so patient even with my wild puppy!I’ve been to several small and local vets and although they’ve all been great but the staff and efficiency here makes all the difference.Shout out to the whole team because they truly offer some great care!”

“We board our three cats here. The facility is bright, clean, and well-maintained. The staff is very friendly and tells us about their interactions with our felines during their stay. Each cat has a window to look outside and are allowed to roam around the room a bit each day. Each cat also has its own cubicle, which is nice. I'm so glad we found this facility. I trust that the cats are well cared for. I highly recommend this boarding facility for cats.”

“Dr. Randy is the best veterinarian I have ever spoken with. My cat Salem had been lethargic and not eating where Banfield wanted to go and perform x-rays and surgery, Dr. Randy took time to evaluate that he had had vaccines from Banfield several days before and was having a bad reaction. He saved us thousands of dollars and the guilt of having our kitten operated on for no gain. He explained very thoroughly his thoughts and conclusions and is a very genuine guy. He was recommended to me by the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City.”

“On 1/25/24 we rushed our 16 year old beagle to blue pearl as he had not been eating and began seizing as soon as we walked in the door the staff saw our sweet boy having another seizure and immediately took him from our arms and rushed him back, we were eventually taken back to a room to speak with the dr who advised us that Stewart was very ill and had a brain tumor and ultimately advised us that it was time for him to cross the rainbow bridge, we were absolutely devastated and heartbroken but the staff brought our baby in the room on a stretcher so that my children and I could say our goodbyes and told us to take all the time we needed and to let them know when we were ready for them to come back in! The dr was fantastic and allowed us to stay with him through the entire process and walked us through everything that she was doing! Stewart passed very quickly and staff still let us take as long as we needed! Thank you for making such a devastating and traumatic loss as painless as possible and for taking the very best care of our boy!”
