I had a problem with a check I didn’t remember I wrote and went over my balance but catch it on time. Went to the bank right away and Amanda helped me with the problem. She took the time to review things with me and even helped me to set up my bank app on my phone. I really appreciate her time, help, and patience with me. Awesome service

Worst drive-thru! So slow!! Will only use the drive-thru in an emergency from now on! This is the third time in a row that service has been so bad. Note: pull up and shut off engine…you are gonna be there awhile.

This review is about Cap Fed. recent payment center upgrade ,2023. This horribly wrong downgrade cost me multiple late payment fees and penalties. They cancelled electronic payments and sent checks but delayed payment for a week with no options. This is hopefully, a temporary problem but there was no warning to make pre-payments knowing the disaster they were about to release!

The teller I interacted with today must’ve had minimal to zero customer service experience. Got the job done but the attitude was unpleasant and awkward.

Awesome experience with Daniel at the Olathe/151st location opening a business account. He made it simple and explained all of my options thoroughly, but in a way I understood. Not realizing they close the lobby at 4:00, I arrived after 3:30, and he never even implied it was a little late in the day. I appreciate the awesome customer service, once again, as we’ve been with Cap Fed for almost 30 years.

I really don't visit the Bank very often as I have found on-line banking to be most efficient! When I do stop in to the Bank, every person I have had contact with has been very polite, professional and has given excellent service for any request I have required. Kudos to all personnel at 151st/Mur-len and also branch at Gardner Price Chopper.

Lost my employment check, deposited checks into a wrong account and today was the top... pulled my money from my account for someone else's very large check and then hit me with an overdraft fee.. best part, it took days to clean it up(my bills became overdue).... in fact still working on getting the overdraft fee fixed... do not bank here, was great until they outsourced the IT department overseas... so if you don't want you to account info outsourced, move on....

Was interested in a small mortgage refinance. Called to compare rates. Loan officer was condescending & unprofessional. I know everyone is refinancing during the pandemic. I wasn’t in a rush, take your time... I wanted a local company to have a shot at my business, if they wanted it. CapFed made it clear they were not interested.

I have several accounts at CAPITAL FEDERAL, & I can say without hesitation, that they have provided and continue to provide outstanding customer support, and I feel very certain that my accounts are secure, with this institution! I also know, that with this Bank, they are a bit more cautious with loaning money, to those who cannot provide information sufficient to satisfactorily, meet CAP FED'S requirements, and payment history, in order to secure loans for homes, autos, etc. As a member of their "Family" of long term mortgages loans, auto loans, money markets, and savings accounts, I feel comfort, in the knowledge that my money is secure, and protected, by the choices they make!

ATMs are down multiple times a week, one time (a few months ago) I was depositing and it took my card. I had to wait over a week to get my debit card back. Last night I went to make another deposit.. the atm screen completely froze, and a web browser pop up come up.. kinda freaky, again I did not get my card back. It’s a little sketchy and I trust capital federal less and less with the more use I have with them.

I am here in person at the counter. Twice now my teller has been interrupted with phone calls. That is very rude and unprofessional. Atm is out of service often here too
