“Not a bad little liquor store! They have a surprisingly good variety, including newer and trendy items. The store doesn't seem big from the outside but they have definitely utilized their space efficiently! Prices are not terrible for alcohol (pretty average) but their ice was a little bit on the high side unfortunately. Staff is always friendly when I am there and have not had a bad interaction.”
“I stopped in here to get some tequila for a friend to celebrate a recent graduation. The staff in there were so incredibly helpful and made you feel like an instant friend. I don’t live close, but I will make the 40 minute trek any day just to experience the customer service and the amazing selection! Cheers”

“Cute little wine shop in Waldo, the owner is super nice and laid back. They do a lot of fun imported wines. Mostly dry but they do have some fruit forward wines too. Would highly recommend making a reservation if you are wanting to do a tasting because of the limited space. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that it took me a year to find this place.”
“WONDERFUL experience learning a lot about wines they were offering for tastings. We tried three different ones: a chardonnay/Clairette, a sparkling red and a boujalais red. All were really unique and one wasn't even in the Vivino database, so I was able to add it myself. We got to talk with the owner for quite a while, which was great.I love supporting local businesses - especially when they're passionate about what they do. This place fits that description to a T.”

“Brookside Wine and Spirits was amazing to work with for our wedding reception in April 2024! They were great at communication. I had even accidentally scheduled the wrong date with them and they were flexible with being able to move it to the correct one, even though it was no fault of theirs. They allow you to sell back any unopened liquor and drinks which was fantastic so that nothing went to waste. The two bartenders who served at our wedding were fantastic and so much fun! We could not recommend them more and I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!”

“Love Mike's. Always a great beer selection, better than average wine selection, cigarettes, decent cigars, and snacks! One of the last hold-outs for the mix your own beer 6-pack for $9.99 which is always a fun way to try new stuff, particularly seasonals. They will order stuff for you if they don't have it, super friendly and knowledgeable staff.”

The staff are always friendly. And, if you want something that they don't have, they will order it for you. This place is my go to liquor store because it's great. Great service, great people, great prices. Overall a and everytime a wonderful experience!”

From my perspective, this is definitely going to be one of my go-to liquor stores from now on.One of the first things that caught my attention was the store's massive selection of different liquors. They had an impressive variety of spirits, wines, and beers that I don't typically see at smaller liquor stores. I was impressed with the wide range of options they had available, which made it easy for me to find what I was looking for and also try some new things.Despite having such a large selection of products, I found that the prices at Lackman Wine & Spirits were pretty comparable to most other liquor stores. I appreciated that I didn't have to break the bank to purchase some of my favorite brands.Moreover, the customer service was fantastic. The guy working there was very friendly and personable, even though it was a late Saturday evening. He was knowledgeable about the products and took the time to answer all of my questions. His approachable demeanor made me feel welcome and valued as a customer.Lastly, I was impressed with how clean the store was. “Missie's had a great selection for a neighborhood liquor store. The employees are always friendly. They go above and beyond-- I once called to ask if they had a certain product in stock and they said no. A few minutes later, they called back - someone had found it in stock. I was able to go get it. It would've been easy for them to move on after my call but instead they followed up. I'll definitely be back!”

Looks like I found a new wine supplier.”
