“All 5 stars go directly to the customer service desk last night! I was dropping off a number of Amazon returns, along with a pillow I had purchased at the store a few weeks earlier. Each Amazon item required a different QR code scan, and they were taken care of quickly and efficiently. Then on to the pillow... We had purchased a number of pillows for visitors recently from other stores and I bought myself a new one from Kohls. I had accidentally put the Kohl's pillow into a bag from one of the other pillows. The woman at the customer service desk tried scanning the pillow a couple times to no success. She then looked up to see if they even sold that brand. When I said I may have used the wrong bag, she opened it up, and tried to find something that identified it as a Kohl's product. Another associate came over and found on the tag that it was, but no identifier of which pillow it was. They then called back and had two additional associates start looking for pillows that met the physical description of the pillow. After a short wait, they appear with two pillows, one of which matched and they completed the return. I was gobsmacked! Who puts this much effort into a single item return? And not even a big ticket item. Just wow!”
“It was easy to open a credit card and save a ton of money. Pay it off right away. Boom. Done. The cashier was awesome. So friendly. I've never been treated so well in a retail store. I'll be back!”

“I was able to find a dog bed and there was many options available. The store was well merchandised and well maintained. The checkouts were slow due to the lack of cashiers but another cashier arrived and the line of customers dwindled quickly.”
“Big Lots is one of my favorite places. If you see something you like you better buy it because they might not have the same item next week. I like their towels and curtains. Most of the people who work there are quite nice and helpful.”

“I've been shopping for business shoes (not dress, not casual) throughout the Overland Park area. Tried DSW, Shoe Carnival, Kohl's, JC Penney, and several boutique stores. Decent selection in some (DSW), but no real help from store personnel and hard to find "wide" sizes.
To the rescue came Dillard's shoe department in the form of Caleb (not to be confused with Calieb downstairs). I explained what I was looking for and he not only found a great pair in wide, but they were even on sale!
If you long for the day when department stores had attentive, specialized staff in virtually every department, Dillard's is the place. Not currently in the market, I almost bought a new suit and tie simply because they had the staff to help - right down to the tailor measuring tapes draped around their necks. Old school and awesome.
Do yourself a favor and immerse yourself in a store truly dedicated to service - Dillard's. And be sure to look up Caleb in the men's shoe department. You will be very glad you did.”
“Each time I shop at the Kohl’s Overland Park location, I receive courteous, treatment. The store is well lit and clean and organized. I’ve never had to wait in line for an extended amount of time when checking out. Cashiers frequently check to see who’s waiting in line, and even the associates in returns/customer service step up to help when the line seems a bit long.
One of the cashiers, sorry I don’t know her name, seems quite pleasant and eager to make sure people and enjoy a satisfactory end to their shopping experience.
Karima, the cashier who helped me apply for my Kohl’s card seemed very knowledgeable about and genuinely concerned that I had all the information needed to apply. And answered all my questions and concerns to my satisfaction.”
“Had found what I was looking for in the men’s clothing area. Assistant helped me check other stores on line for availability about sandals, but no one had the size we needed. Otherwise very friendly checking out a good experience over all shopping at the Kansas Speedway Kohl’s department store.”

“Went in today at 5:30 and was trying to pay off the JCPenney credit card and never received the card in the first place. They couldn’t do it without the card or a balance so they got together and talked about it and called the manager up and he didn’t really know how to help and they still came up with a solution for us to get it taken care of and got exactly what we needed done. The best customer service I’ve ever received in my whole life! Great staff there! More than willing and happy to help.”

“I expected to see a better quality or class of womens attire and accessories. Nothing unique with high prices. It didn’t stand out. They did have sales on dresses that were affordable but very little in my size. A difference in price I saw in a handbag compared to a clone at Marshall’s was a 80.00 difference.”

“I had forgotten how fun this store can be. You can find most everything for you abode and then some. They have a great organized selection. The holiday areas are impressive. This store is well staffed and has a front and rear entrance. They have a lot of great sales and you find good quality items for low prices.”

I told him what I need and want. He did all the work for me. In and out in a hour. A little more than an hour. I got shoes socks slacks belt two shirts jacket and a tie! Rance did it all.

“This is one of the closer locations to me so I go here more often than not. The store is always clean and well organized for the most part. It's TJ Maxx so you never know what you might find, which is part of the fun.
The lines have been long lately but it's been holiday shopping time and they move them at a pretty fast and efficient pace. The cashiers are normally friendly and professional.
The last time I called looking for an item the lady on the phone was rude. She seemed "put out" by my inquiry regarding an item I was looking for and the status of whether it was in stock or not. I don't even think she looked because she put me on hold and quickly took me off saying they didn't have the item. This is speculation if course.
Anywho, I normally have a good shopping experience here and it's in a location where there's plenty of other options so you can potentially get all your shopping done nearby. Which is always nice!”

“I showed up 30 minutes before closing (I didn’t realize they were closing early tonight), and had an armful of clothes that I tried on right before close. I felt so bad, but it was my only opportunity to snag something before my trip, and since I’m pregnant, finding clothes that fit has been really hard. Laura helped me into a room, and helped me with my returns and purchase, with only a smile on her face, despite my constant apologies for being in there so close to closing time. I had an issue with my payment and got overwhelmed and she went above and beyond to ensure it really was okay that I was in there late, and she was glad I was able to get some clothes that I felt comfortable in. Hoping Laura’s manager reads this and that she can get extra recognition because she deserves it! Thank you, Laura!!!”
