I was trying to adopt a dog from there. Unfortunately someone got him before I could bring him home. Otherwise the process went smoothly and I would definitely try to adopt from there again if I see they have an animal I want. Very sweet staff who obviously care about the animals in their care. I do hope the puppy I wanted went to a great home

I stopped in today to visit the cats and kittens with the idea that I wanted to find a new friend for my 3 year old neutered cat and an addition to my little family. I found a clean, wonderful place with cats for adoption and a helpful and kind staff that really wanted to help me find the right pet for me. The staff are great and I found an adorable kitten that I am so happy I adopted. Great place to adopt a new family pet!

Fantastic shelter. I went with my daughter and her husband to look at cats. First of all the facility was very clean. They only had one cat in the shelter, and he was being treated by the vet for an injury. My daughter decided to foster him, and the shelter had a room full of donated items that they could "shop" in exchange for a donation. They made a donation and I was so impressed with the staff and facility that I also made a donation.

We have adopted at least three pets from this animal shelter over the past 24 years. They've always been very helpful. The animals always seem well cared for and happy.

Adopted a dog on Saturday, was told she was excellent with cats. Wrong. My cat is terrified. We’ve had the cat for 3years. This dog is pinning her and nipping, but when I brought my concerns the staff and vet there bullied me into keeping the dog, saying I “wasn’t giving it long enough” and told me to lock up my cat. Refused to let me give the dog back to the shelter in hopes of a better fit for a home and guilted me for even thinking of adopting. The cat is stressed and hasn’t eaten since Saturday morning but like hell is the shelter concerned with that.

We took in a stray kitten, only to learn that my husband is very allergic. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I hope he found a nice home, he was a great little tabby.

They don’t listen when you have to return an animal for attacking other animals. They will blame the diet and not listen to the things that triggered the adopted animal in the home. They will also guilt you for trying to keep both the animals you already have in the home safe as well as the one we tried to adopt and will not listen to any suggestions or concerns you have! If you want to be disrespected because the animal you adopt doesn’t fit in your home (even though it was a stray they had no info on and your giving them info on how they behave in the home) then this is the place to go!
