T. Russell Reitz Animal Shelter is an open intake and adoption animal shelter servicing the city of Manhattan, Kansas. We take in strays and surrenders, reunite lost pets with their families, and help find homes for the homeless animals in our community. Our Animal Control Officers help enforce the laws of our community, while also protecting the pets within our community. We are a tax-funded, municipal shelter.
