Menu highlights include a very large and tender chicken-fried steak with a crispy coating, served with homemade mashed potatoes and lightly peppered white gravy. The catfish fillets are fresh and well-made. Meals come with a basic salad featuring homemade dressing and homemade rolls. The peanut butter pie is delicious and large enough to share. Portions are generous and could feed two people. The staff is friendly and treats customers like close friends. However, the dining room has limited room and can get busy with a brisk takeout business, so it is advised to come early before items sell out. It is not a cheap meal, but the quality is a step above other chains. Overall, it is a fun, welcoming place with the best food.

We had dinner there. They need to build on. Not enough room. The food was great. I felt sorry for the 1 waiter. Doing it all.

Our first time in this establishment and we were treated like close friends. We had the Gizzard dinner (amazing) real mashed potatoes and gravy. Topped off with a delicious peanut butter pie. By the way, it's enough to share.
