Great place for book lovers to wander around and find a gem of a used book and get some attention from the shop kitty, Dinah. No coffee bar at this one like there is in Manhattan, Kansas.

Went for the novelty of the kitty cat, stayed for the diverse spread of books (and found some gems). Only reason for the 4⭐️ vs. 5 is the lack of organization - I get they have overstock but I had trouble identifying what genre I was looking at on various tables etc...

Love this used book store. I visit whenever I’m in Lawrence. Plus they have a cat!
