“The Toy Store in Lawrence has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. We came here for the first time a month ago to let our daughter pick out her own baby doll but didn’t know where in the store we could find them. We asked an associate and he directed us downstairs. As we walked away, we heard him get on his walkie talkie and tell another associate “a baby is coming down to pick out a baby” and we’re greeted by another staff member at the bottom of the stairs who walked us directly to the baby section. Even though we live 45 minutes away, we will definitely be returning for our toy shopping needs in the future!”

“This bookstore is a delight. I have shopped here for years and not only do they have a great selection, I use them for all my preorders too. Shop local for your books and do it here!”

“A used book lovers dream! Shelves and shelves of previously owned books. All priced fairly. Be prepared to sift. Most of the time they have books lining the floor. Even has an adorable bookstore cat, which is a bookstore must for me!”

“Great customer service! Buy your school supplies here but your KU gear will be most expensive here. Check thrift stores and reuse first unless you are looking for something specific.”

“I had a print job I took to four different places in town to compare price vs. quality - Jayhawk Ink was the most affordable with average quality printing (the best quality was at Copy Co, but it was pricier). For larger print jobs, I'd recommend coming here.”

“Ordered one textbook from Barrister Books for this semester. Book arrived in good condition, on time, and offered both a better price and rental duration than the Amazon Textbook rental service. Happy with this service!”

“Solid place for anything KU related. Cheaper than Kansas Sampler and better KU selection imo. Lots of attractive female employees doesnt hurt, but staff seem to enjoy being there, which is cool. Only bad thing is the parking, but beyond their control. Still beats a ticket parking on mass i suppose!”
