I’m not even from the area. I live in Louisville, Kentucky, and am jealous this isn’t my neighborhood bar. Wish they all could all be like this!
Vegetarian options: A very good veggie wrap, not your typical pub grub. Get the pasta salad as well.

634 Kansas Ave, Kansas CityI wish these were more economical. $50 to get 8 cookies shipped, locally (I didn’t need 8 but there wasn’t a way to get just 4 of my choice). I ordered them on a Sunday and they arrived Friday.
Yes, they are big. Overall they are good, decadent, but not the best cookies I’ve had *ever*. The blueberry lemon is more cakey, which is fine. The flavor was good and possibly my favorite overall. The dusting on the outside is a nice touch. The mocha espresso was overpowering on the espresso to me. One bite on that one was enough. My favorite flavor wise was probably confetti. Reminded me a bit of Milk Bar but without the cream cheese frosting which is what ruins Milk Bar for me.
Honestly, the OG was my least favorite. I love chocolate but the loads of chips are a bit too much. I didn't like the (lack of) balance, and this was the crispiest cookie in my batch (a little overdone for my preference).
Look, I’m particular with my sweets. This is just my opinion and if I am ever able to try a new flavor on its own while in the area, I’d probably do it, but (maybe thankfully for my health) these aren’t something I’ll pay $50 for a multipack to ship again. I’ll try to give my other 4 to a neighbor to enjoy.

I tried the chopped burnt in burger with the onion straws and a strawberry soda. 1800 Prairie Crossing, Kansas CitySo many people have been raving about this place and I don't believe we have one near me yet, but I was out in a part of town i rarely go to and saw one of their locations. I was excited to try it. It wasn't really in the mood for coffee, but I have a friend who said that theiriced teas are really good, so that's what I got. I think the base iced tea, you could choose between green or black- I like that their tea is actually brewed and they offer choices, but I think it may have also been sweetened. If I had known that, I probably wouldn't have gotten peach and pineapple syrup in it also because it was a bit too sweet for me. Next time I will know to just ask for unsweetened iced tea as the base. I also got popping Boba added. I like that you can mix and match a lot of flavors and add on different kinds of sweeteners and syrup and fun stuff like Boba. I like it that they have several sugar-free syrups to choose from. The young man who took my order and the two people who were making drinks were super nice and I look forward to coming back next time I run across a location. Love that when I wanted extra ice, he suggested putting my medium drink in a bigger cup- what a great idea! Wish more places offered this.
