“I happen to really appreciate the employees and establishment above any other DT in the city, and being a former house cleaner, I’ve shopped many stores over the decades. This shop is the very best and the people are so kind. Jas is very helpful and a pro when my card was working once. The staff are warm, hard working and professional. I’m always greeted with a smile.
I am however disappointed in one recent hire who refused to bag some of my items because she felt that I bought too many of them and was extremely rude about it in August of 2024. Some Monster cans were on clearance an I purchased 20 of them along with other items. She told me she will not bag the cans as it would take too many bags (took 2 bags lol) only bagged the items that were not cans and made me carry the rest, then proceed to mutter to other customers on my way out..
She didn’t like her little counter being crowded with my purchases so she slapped the bagged items in my hands in a hurry and I never felt more tempted to tell an cashier off, but I wanted to get my stuff out of the way for the next shopper, who was shocked at what he saw… She’s the one with the pony tail, not the lovely GRACIOUS one with the short pixy cut. I have not been back since and don’t plan to.”
“I absolutely love this Dollar Tree! I have a fondness for the old school cinnamon hard candies. I’m a Midwifery Assistant and Birth Doula,so when my mom’s have upset tummies or everything tastes weird, I recommend those and ginger to help settle their stomach(a little bit anyway). I have traveled to 3-4 other Dollar Tree stores and they NEVER EVER have them! However I can ALWAYS count on this store to have them in stock. One time they were in boxes still, I explained my situation and the staff unboxed them right there so I could grab several.”

“I used to frequent this Dollar General nearly everyday, often times I didn't even have any money, and yet despite this the employees that work here on afternoons treated me with a hospitality that I haven't experienced at most other places. The employees are incredibly kind & patient and know exactly how to treat someone how they want to be treated, and honestly I can't thank them enough for always being able to tolerate me. ?”
“Nice clean store, with great employees. Only complaint would be that you never know if it will be open or closed. Went here on Sunday at 2:00 pm and it was closed. Had to go to another location at 45th and Metropolitan, and that was a bad experience. Employees with bad attitudes there.”
“My vist on 3/3/26 was a good one. When I walked in I was greeted with a welcome in. I went and got the few things I needed and when I got to the register nobody was at the register. The cashier (her name tag said Tiny) was quick to get to the register before I even had everything out of my cart. She asked me how my day was going and was very attentive about my answer and even asked why my day wasn't going so well. She was very quick and polite and made my day better. She even help carry a few things out to my car. There needs to be more people like her in the world. The store was stalked and neat nothing in the way. Great job.”
“My got to spot for reasonable priced necessities. The employees are great, Especially Lisa and Jess, I also miss Mo wherever she went. I've been frequenting this location for 20 years and yes it's had it's ups and downs but the current employees are great. They actually get stock put away before it sells. Good job ladies and shout out to the Brother at the register with the skull cap, idk his name but he is very professional no matter how you approach him. I definitely hope things stay the way they are RIGHT NOW

“Not a bad place to go.. the clerks are always having fun while we working.prices are ok some sales items are well worth the price. Some of the food items are over priced but it's not a total grocery store. I've been shopping there for a while now. I will be back,,, the staff are hilarious.. cool people”

“Always get good customer service here and compared to many of the other dollar trees in the area this always have the most inventory. The manager Chris is very knowledgeable, patient, and courteous. Good place to take your family for odds and ends, I recommend this location if dollar tree is your thing”

“I can't speak for all F.D.'s, but the 1 I use is actually fun to go to. The workers are always friendly and helpful. But not only that, they remember you & joke with you. They are fun to visit. If I move away, I'll make the trip to visit & shop @ my F.D. as often as possible.”

“This place is very convenient for me because it's close to my apartment but the staff needs to work on getting the boxes out of the aisle. Every week, the shelves have to be restocked but the boxes stays in the aisles for a long period of time.”
“This dollar general is absolutely amazing!! And I believe the person who helped me out was named cameron? Carmen? But they were absolutely amazing, So knowledgeable, And you could tell they knew that store like the back of their hand. Out where I live in johnson county, The dollar tree stores are a mess, and They may have some good deals here and there, but for the most part, It's almost so hectic, that It's not worth going. This place was the exact opposite of that!! It was so well organized, In the amount of stuff that had to pick from, Not just food wise, but everything you can think of From home goods to decoration to cleaning Even pillows, rugs In gardening stuff et cetera! Everything was so organized and well stocked! There is a reason that this place is number one across the board. GO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!”

“A lot of shoplifting occurs especially due to the under-staffing situation. Constantly rude and disrespectful customers in the evening harassing and degrading the workers there.It's unacceptable especially coming from "regular customers".People loiter on occasion and solicit customers making the people shop there uncomfortable when it happens.The workers there try their best to maintain a clean and safe environment for everyone but it's hard some days.People constantly ignore signs that are posted that are meant to inform customers as they come in of important details pertaining to store operation and responding to recent customer inquiries.Banned customers continue to show up on the property but due to heavy traffic during rush hour they continue to slip by until it's too late and we discover damaged products (products that have been opened to steal the contents inside).These things do not go unnoticed but it's nearly impossible to address each instances as they happen to prevent theft.We try to maintain a positive shopping experience with every customer that comes in the door and hope to continue to do so for the foreseeable future.Things have to change in retail and the workers there deserve respect and being a regular customer does not mean you can have it your way every time.”

“I went to Family Dollar twice this week and I don't know if they're under new management or what. But I actually had a pleasant experience with them both times. The other day, I was having a problem locating something in the store, and when I asked one of the stockers where the item was located, he immediately stopped what he was doing and took me directly to it. He didn't just tell me what aisle I could find it in, but actually stopped what he was doing! When I went there today, I received a pleasant greeting when I came in, the cashier was very pleasant when I was checking out. Normally they all have an attitude of "I don't give a damn". Thanks Family Dollar for stepping up your game in customer service! It's truly appreciated! You get 5 stars from me!”
“This store is closed to home , have great customer service never had a issue. Just wish they could get better security so they won't keep getting robbed was told that's the only reason they close early sometimes and only accept cards and NO cash. If people would ask questions to the staff like I did then they would have a better understanding Safety is always first.”

“A large, clean will stocked Dollar Tree. The new concept is a bit confusing at times. They have plenty of cold drinks but they are all together without any prices so the tea that costs $3 is in the same place as $1.25 drinks but you don't know what each costs. Overall a good place to shop with a little of everything. The staff are nice, great selection of cleaning supplies and nice parking lot. Plus they are close to Pancho's Mexican which is a bonus!”
