He’s friendly and very helpful. Stop giving your money to big box stores and support local. The pet food is cheaper because they sell natural foods that do not spend money on advertising so they are able to sell their products at a lower rate. Check them out!”

“Not only do they have good things for your yard, bird seed, etc, but they have excellent nuts of various kinds. I am not to eat them but I am addicted to their honey roasted nuts. I even bought a Planter’s brand and they don’t even compare to Valley Feed and Seeds. Go and try them, as you will be so glad you did.”
“Got some beautiful parrots & an Oscar from them just the other day (that are all 3 doing fantastic still) & we showed up about 15 minutes before they closed & they didn't rush us or make us feel unwanted in fact it probably was 10 or 15 after they closed by the time we got out of there so we're very appreciative of being treated so well as we drove 2hrs to go get fish at exotic pets on Kellogg just to discover that they don't sell fish on Wednesday which is the most absurd & idiotic $hit I've ever heard so we were thrilled to find tails & scales before our 2hr drive was all for not... thankfully they didn't have a no fish for sale day or if they do it thankfully wasn't Wednesday like exotic pets is! So thanks tails & scales!”

“My friend's dog went to Spay & Neuter for a spay. The vet noticed something wrong with the dog, so they ordered testing. Test confirmed a very aggressive inoperable throat cancer. My friend was very sad and Spay & Neuter Kansas was there for her every step. They even reimbursed the money she had paid. Way to go Spay & Neuter Kansas! I highly recommend.”

“I had a run of the mill transaction here. My experience was not one that would make me go out of my way to shop here, but it was pleasant enough that I will be back to shop here for my pet needs. I did feel bad for the cashier though because it was cold when I shopped there (low 30s with wind) and the poor cashier has to stand where constant cold air was blowing in. We had a cold snap last month where temps were single digits, windchill below zero. I can't imagine standing at the cash register with that cold of air constantly blowing in. Temperature control is a little lacking inside the store, at least at checkout. Updated to four stars for todays transaction. I had a very pleasant experience at this store today with the employees at checkout when I had to process a return.”

“Clean store, well stocked but I noticed that their ball pythons temps were really high and humidity was low other than that we enjoy the store. We got our daughter a guinea pig and they had everything needed they even priced matched a enclosure that was 180.00 for 50.00 so that was a huge win and bubbles now has a good home and a living family.”

“Took my cat in today and had the best service. All of the staff were polite and caring. I got an appointment within a day of calling. The receptionist was kind as well. Most importantly they cared and treated her like their own baby. They fixed her problem and we were in and out in an hour.”
