“Although they are not a " home improvement" store like Lowe's, they are the only place in Des Moines I could get the deck screws I needed to finish my deck. And they came thru, AGAIN! “Ryan West was the kind of salesman who prided himself on going the extra mile. So, when he offered to bring flooring samples directly to our house, we readily agreed. He arrived in his signature rusty Jeep, which looked as though it had seen better days but had somehow managed to survive them all.

Ryan stepped out, beaming, with a large case of samples in hand. As he walked up our driveway, he hit an uneven patch of pavement and stumbled. In a desperate attempt to regain his balance, he flailed and tumbled backward, crashing into his Jeep. The sound of his collision was followed by a series of unsettling creaks and groans from the old vehicle.

Ryan scrambled to his feet, brushing himself off with an embarrassed laugh. "I’m okay!" he announced, trying to downplay the mishap. He turned to check on his Jeep, only to find that it was now leaning precariously to one side, its front bumper almost touching the ground. A thick wisp of smoke began to curl up from the engine.

"Uh-oh," Ryan muttered, more to himself than to us. He tried turning the ignition, but the Jeep only sputtered weakly before falling silent. The engine had finally given up the ghost.

Despite the mechanical disaster, Ryan maintained his composure. He opened his case and laid out the flooring samples with the same enthusiasm as if nothing had happened. We couldn't help but admire his dedication and his ability to focus on the task at hand, even as his vehicle seemed to disintegrate behind him.

After we'd made our selection, Ryan called for a tow truck, handling the situation with remarkable poise. As the tow truck hauled away what was left of his Jeep, he turned to us with a smile. "Well, at least your new floors will look great," he said with a wink.

“After 21 years we were looking to replace our carpet. After much research we settled on a manufacturer and a type of carpet we wanted. So it came down to color options. Archer allowed us to take nice sized color samples home to help us decide. After deciding on a color, Greg came out to our home and measured the square yrds of carpet and pad to cover our floors. After we agreed to a price for the job, they worked with us on a day to schedule the work.Installer Scott arrived on time and went to work right away. He answered all of our questions. While the job took 2 days to complete he worked late on day 1 to be able to complete the job in 2 days. The work was impeccable. However after a couple weeks we noticed what looked like a very noticeable seam. So we called Greg at Archer to come take a look, he also had Scott come out to look at the line in our carpet. Scott said it's not a seam, but a flaw in the carpet. Greg then requested a warranty replacement through the manufacturer. Which was accepted, and was reordered with the same dye lot. We waited about 3 weeks for warranty and reorder. They again scheduled a replacement for our flawed carpet. Scott again pulled the flawed carpet and reinstalled the new unflawed carpet to our complete satisfaction. Archer has been great to work with and worked diligently to make sure we were happy with the results.Thank You Greg and Scott for your hard work and professionalism.
