“My favorite workout in town, by far. Since moving to Des Moines earlier this year, I've tried classes at a number of studios around town, and even joined one very bougie athletic club for a hot minute. As a disclaimer, I was a big fan of barre workouts before ever coming to this studio. That being said, this barre studio is def one of my top faves.What I like:- Staff is always super welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Very supportive to first timers and veterans alike. - Incredible workout (barre is by far my favorite way to workout). - Various class formats and class lengths to choose from. I also appreciate that they offer multiple classes at different times each day. - Uncrowded classes. Always plenty of space to stretch out, even during busy classes.”

“This is my go to shop for travel purchases. It seems that they only sell solid gear with great warranties. Most recently I needed a receipt for a 4+ year old dry bag. Jay was able to access the receipt within minutes and emailed it to me. I was able to complete my warranty request the same day and a new product will be sent shortly. Buy local!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Jodey and her lovely boutique. We traveled from NC to Iowa for a wedding. 4 hours before the wedding, I realized the dress I had packed was ruined. The boutique was in the hotel that we were staying. I quickly ran down stairs, through her doors and said “help”! She pulled me a full outfit together. You can’t believe how many compliments I had at the wedding we attended. Hat, boots and a gorgeous dress. I’ll be a new customer online! Thank you for saving the day! You’re a doll!!”

“I was visiting from out of town and was lucky enough to be there for their 10th anniversary party. I had a great time trying everything on and receiving white glove service from the owner. They have a great selection and I was able to find plenty of things that fit me even though my size is hard to shop for (32G). They have more than bras and panties with a lot of options for sleepwear, loungewear, slips and other lingerie. I left very happy with some special pieces for my collection. Don’t sleep on Amour!”

The ladies working 8/18/23 saw I was carrying clothes to try on, politely came to me and took the clothes so I wasn’t carrying them around, and reserved me a dressing room. “I shopped there today to find some work clothes. I found far too many great choices, I recently gained 100 lbs over the last year and feel very insecure shopping anywhere and in any clothes. The lady there was so great, knew where everything was I asked for. She fit my size. The clothes were horribly expensive, but she gave me some discounts for being a new customer and tons of coupons to try bra’s and jeans. Overall good experience.”

“I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 25 years and these are THE BEST classes in Ankeny. They are a bit pricey BUT it’s well worth the price because they make sure you are doing everything correct as far as form. I’ve taken classes before and needed either physical therapy or chiro afterwards. These classes will get you in shape without injury! I’ve lost 10 pounds in 40 days and feel great and my clothes are fitting much better! Katie - the owner is FABULOUS! Instructors are amazing and extremely helpful. Anyway, take the plunge, and join! You won’t regret it!”
