“I have used Eastown Animal Hospital for over 20 years. They always put my pet’s wellbeing first, from puppy to elderly. They present options for treatment and allow me to decide my pets course of care. I never feel pressured or that are wanting me to do anything unnecessary for my pet. I find them to be compassionate towards animals and respectful of their humans.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Heyer and the staff! I’ve been to a few vets, but she is by far the most attentive and caring I’ve encountered. She is incredibly patient, always willing to answer my questions, and truly goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and informed. My cat is FIV positive, and Dr. Heyer took the time to thoroughly explain what that means, answering all of my concerns with compassion. She even checks in with us, which means a lot. “Great experience! I took my Russian tortoise here for his first beak trim and Dr. Harmon was quick and to the point. My tortoise is shy around new people but had no problems here. The trim took no longer than 5 minutes and the price was unbeatable. Definitely recommend!”

“I’m incredibly thankful for Dr Steenhagen and Dr Kendall for taking care of my Daisy girl. My dog had some bumps on her side and they turned out to be low grade tumors. We got them removed a week later. It’s been a month now and she is doing well. Dr Steenhagen is so kind, gentle and respectful. “This is the first vet I have taken my dog to in Iowa and will probably be my main vet while I live here. They were able to help me out today with an emergency and they were able to charge me under $100 for said issue because I could not cover it financially. I am from Washington State and at least there it cost an arm foot and a leg for an emergency and nine times out of 10 they are unable to help you. Amazing affordable Care and my dog is doing so much better.”
“I couldn't get into my usual vet and since my partner takes out other cat here, I gave them a call and they were able to see Sherlock the same day.
The care my cat received was excellent and they didn't hesitate to get him in the next day when we started to narrow down what was going on. I appreciate the vets talking through the options and what makes sense to start with, all while being transparent about cost.

“I can't recommend Beaverdale Vet Clinic enough! I called 20 minutes before closing when my dog broke her dew claw and our regular vet was closed for the day. They didn't hesistate to get her in and stayed past closing to get her fixed up. They whole staff was extremely kind and you can tell they really care about your pets. A huge thank you to the team for taking care of Millie!!”
“I have a medical problem child who in her almost 9 years of life has had medical issues of one sort or another almost the whole time. Her medical records are in book form and she has her own medicine cabinet.? With her latest issue our hometown vet was giving us the runaround and prescribing even more pills and crossing their fingers. Nothing helped. Ok we're done here. Found the Wellness Center on line, called for an appointment and got in almost right away. The Doc checked her out and told me of the tests they could run but they weren't equipped to do an endoscope which is what was probably needed to be done to get to the bottom of her problem. The Doc referred us to another clinic that could do this and so ended our visit here. Needless to say I was disappointed because I really thought we'd finally get some answers. We did however get connected with the other clinic a couple of weeks later and this doctor came through for us. Angel was diagnosed with mega esophagus, aspiration pneumonia, and a uti More meds, a new diet plan and a different way of doing things and Angel is doing much better! And I have to applaud the Wellness Center even though we were only there that once because instead of running us through the ringer like our hometown vet she pointed us to where we needed to go. It truly shows that her patients well being is No. 1. And with that I thank her and her staff!”
