The apartments are nice , but need some modern work done to up date them . but over all pretty nice .”

3300 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport“the only reason I’m not back at Barker property is because the didn’t have anything in my time frame when I moved back to the QC. I am currently looking to leave the place I’m at and will be back @ Barker soon enough.
My apartment was clean, my carpet I think a year old, but looked/felt new. I had no insects/pests, maintenance is prompt within the same day . I chose them because they are 100% smoke free, pet friendly, & location.
It’s an apartment not a house. So, on occasion you will have noises, they can’t control the neighborhood or ambulances etc.
I wish now that I’d had stated in DSM a month longer paid $1100 just so I could have moved back to a Barker property. Because the sight unseen complex that I’m in now- as soon S I can I’m gone.
Everyone has their limits to what they can tolerate-
But in my opinion for the affordability Nd safety -100% recommend. No parking passes needed for residents, guests can park wherever they, lighted for safety is a plus, & when I was there 20-21 there was a courtesy officer.
To those complaining about not returned deposits or fees- it is because they paid late or left the apt looking awful. I was never charged late Nd when I left I cleaned everything except the ceiling light and I received all of my deposit back!!”
“Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality home for themselves. The apartments are welcoming, clean, and have modern floorings and fixtures. The leasing staff are very friendly and always quick to help with whatever you need. The maintenance staff are also very friendly and competent, they're quick to resolve issues with care. The neighbors are quiet, the parking lots are clean with plenty of spaces, and the personal patios are perfect for relaxing and making your own. There's laundry in each building and the machines work well. The mailboxes and hub are convenient and secure. We were beyond satisfied with the move in process and state of the apartment. This is a place you can feel comfortable and will be glad to call home.”
“I lived there many years ago, before 2000. I never had Ny issues, I lived in a 2bdrm garden level. Now Barker didn’t own them . I can tell you that I never had any pests, noise above me was minimal, & I am going say that they are made well. Yes therms are older, but they are sound soars. I have lived in others since Barker taking over- by far the best experience.
The best part is that they are smoke free, they are very strict about this. As a non-smoke r, it is so nice to come home and not have to get on a nebulizer!
No apartment is perfect 100% of the time, I can think of a few management companies that are terrible!!!!!! I’m not saying in every building that you’ll not overhear neighbors above you or loud noises
But if you live in apartments low income to luxury - there could be some noise.
I can tell you though if you smell smoke, they will find who is doing it and it will be resolved. I’d rather have an older sound apartment than new terrible build. I’m actually think of moving back 9/2024”
“We went to see Nate Bargetzi (sorry if that's incorrect spelling) and it was amazing! I love the interior design, and it has amazing service. The seats were tight, but it was 100% worth it! The only pain was parking.”
