Kudos to Lucy Herrod in housekeeping. I noticed my mother‘s room has not been swept or mopped for a long time, and I kindly asked to use the broom to sweep under the bed. Lucy went over and beyond to sweep and mop the room. She said she only works once a week. I appreciate her time and effort to happily and gracefully accommodate my mom’s room on the spot.Thank you,TinaGladys, Allen’s daughter

My brother is a resident at the Willows facility. The staff is always attentive and kind to him. They encourage him to engage in social activities, and he has made friends here. It’s a small more cozy facility that is rather homey. He has made it his home and is happy here.

My Mom has been at Life Care Center of The Willows for the past 18 months. The care that she has received has been top notch. The staff, at all levels, are very professional and attentive to the patient and family needs.

I love Life Care Center of The Willows for its staff. The staff there really banded together when covid struck, and stuck it through this whole time. Everyone looked out for each other and the residents and their families. Which was a much needed support system in a horrific time.I have enjoyed getting to know all of the different staff in different departments. I can confidently say that everyone tries their best and from their heart, to give the residents a good end of life, or short term stay experience.I love how everyone here just meshes together and looks out for each other, like a small-big family. It really is a beautiful experience getting to see everyone work hard in making things better for each other.I can also say that I love the atmosphere here. And I love getting to watch my co-workers and residents flourish in a good environment. The world may be tough right now, but we can pretend it's not at The Willows.

Staff are very helpful and pleasant. However there is a shortage of staff. Sometimes we had to wait a little too long. The therapist are very good, helpful and know how to treat patients. I would recommend The Willows to my friends.

My Dad was admitted from Munster Community Hospital to Life Care Center of the Willows for rehab after hip sugery. Life Care Center of the Willows is an absolutely HORRIBLE facility. Due to the negligence at this facility my father became malnourished and dehydrated to the point he went into renal failure. My family and I tried to remove him from there, and the staff would lie about him to deter other facilities from taking him. We ended up having to call 911 in order to get him out, and they even fought us on that. Unfortunately, my dear, kind, wonderful father ended dying in hospice two weeks later. There was nothing more that could be done for him. PLEASE don't put your loved one in Life Care Center of the Willows!!!

The place looks great on the outside! Very nice when you walk in. Everyone is friendly and polite. Rooms are a bit outdated. But for the most important part is the care shown to our loved ones. Staff is very helpful to patients and take time to listen to their wants and needs independently. Seems to me they all take great pride in their jobs. Thank you and keep up the great work!! Physical therapy also explains everything to families to help them understand the why of each exercise.

My dad came to Life Care for rehab after a stroke. He needs a lot of special nursing care to due complications from the stroke and his diabetes. Life Care has been amazing. His therapists have all been great and helping him to work hard towards recovery. John, his afternoon nurse, is very attentive and does a great job explaining exactly what he's doing and why. He has been a God send to our family. It is so nice to see the same caring and smiling face every day and know my dad is well taken care of.

terrible. Broken beds, , not keeping up with patients' meds, pitiful food service...very little fresh food. Long waits for the call button. Callous attitudes towards patients suffering. $11,000 dollars a month to suffer and beignored.

The residents at the willows are well taken care of I notice this everytime I come and volunteer at the facility. While it is a smaller facility and not as fancy as the others-it is more like home. Each staff member gets to know each resident inside and out making it a one on one experience where everyone feels valued. From housekeeping, nursing, management to kitchen staff everyone comes together to care for the residents and it shows.
