“I bought Continental Viking tires because of the rebate. At $400-$500 for a set after the rebate they seemed like a bargain. Otherwise, I would have bought the Blizzaks. So 2 months later- no rebate. Tire Rack contacted me after my 1st bad review, they lied and said everything has been sorted, I've yet to see any rebate. I tried contacting them again- no response. Continental rebate told me a "manager" will contact me within 2 weeks. 4 Weeks have passed... no contact whatsoever. My 1st review was removed from Tire Rack. So be careful about rebates from CONTINENTAL and Tire Rack. It's basically a scam. I've had rebates from Hankook and Michelin before. Never had a problem from them. But Continental- avoid. And I'm assuming Tire Rack is getting something from Continental, because they were very quick to respond after my 1st review and delete it from their site and tried to convince me how good of a company Continental is.Tire rack has gone down the usual corporate, cartel path after it was bought by Discount tire. It still amazes me how these companies are being let to become a monopoly and no one bats and eye. Basically the 2 biggest tire companies are owned by the same people. I'm sure that creates a huge competition between the two and any other small company has no issues competing with them.I know it's not necessarily Tireracks fault but they are the ones that sold me the tires and they are the one that were trying to convince me how good of a company Continental is and quick to point out the rebate.And this is a bad review for Tire Rack and Discount tire. Same company, so...2/8/2024- After my reviews I got contacted again by Tire Rack and I was told for sure rebate was approved all I have to do is wait 8-12 weeks... On top of the 2 months that have lapsed already. Either way I got nothing else to lose, I guess. Will update in 3 months.Revised week before 3/5 I finally got the rebate cards. I would change the review to 5 star since Tire Rack were actually great at the end of the day resolving the issue, but this still should not have been such a fiasco and I will leave the actual review. All and all 4 months and I did get the actual rebate cards.”

“These folks really made a difference for me this week. I was searching for a hard to find drive shaft, and was calling yard after yard that were advertising on a popular parts search. I was getting so much run around. A place in Illinois let me wait all day planning to make the trip out before calling to let me know they couldn't find it. Enter Jenn. When she answered the phone at Auto Parts City, the level of customer service I received let me know that I was dealing with a real professional. She wasnt in a rush to get off the phone like so many folks in this industry who act like you're wasting their time calling about a part.Her communication and punctuality in getting back to me, sending pictures of the part, and even arranging to put it aside so I could pick up after hours (and a long drive from Cleveland) saved a $5000 job for my shop. Today her customer service enabled me to maintain mine! When I am sorting through the search results in the future I will always remember that Kowalski Auto Parts City is an A1 yard to work with! I highly recommend them to people both near and far from South Bend!”

“They didn't have the battery in stock that my niece wanted, but they did have one that worked. Still way better that they're competition; never got home to find out I have the wrong part or been given wrong information the curiously results in more expensive parts... makes you wonder if some of the other competition pays commission trip there employees, things that make you go hmmm. I will say that the store I called had the battery she wanted, went to the Lincolnway store and it was too close to closing time on a Sunday to drive to the other store. Still very happy with the service I get at O'Reilly's....keep up the good work=keep this customer for all local part purchases.”
