There is service technician, Josh, who has been out to my house multiple times in Greencastle, IN for people hitting my power pole, power lines going down, tree branches, etc. I wanted to recognize him because he's been the face of duke energy for us and he is always wonderful, does prompt service, professional, and just overall great!

I grew up in Indiana and can recall, perhaps, a half dozen power outages in my formative years. I have lived in Greenwood for 8 years and we have had a dozen or more outages, 4 lasted for several hours and one went for 27 hours. Without question, Duke CANNOT keep the lights on.

Absolute crooks, Monopoly is supposed to be illegal in this country. if you have enough money though apparently it's ok. I have power lines 6 inches above my METAL ROOF and no one will come out. Another line less than 10 feet above my yard, no one will come out. I have a dead tree in my yard surrounded by three lines. No one will come out. Had the Main power shut off in my house for 3 months. I get a surprise bill in the mail for over $300 and suddenly "It was charges that I never received from my power." I have had the same bill for over 15 years until....Next week I had a brand new digital meter installed. Wonder how that was paid for? I hate you Duke energy, you are thieves and should be prosecuted. May you all rot for what you do.

My mother in law was told for months that she owed nothing and had a credit on her bill. She tried with my wife numerous times to straighten things out and they still told her she owed nothing. They finally found THEIR mistake and are making her pay extra to make up the difference. She is a senior citizen on a fixed income now stuck with more expense because of Duke Energy incompetence. Had I been involved from the beginning I would have collected documentation and recorded calls and then hired a lawyer. Corporations are not exempt from the consequences of their mistakes.

Power went out couple times but they fix it quickly. As a precaution, when asked, they came out and trimed a tree before any outage occurred from falling branches. I was late on bill twice from me not setting up auto pay, but, got deposit credited back in 6 months. It was mostly my fault.

My neighbor and I needed the power lines to their house and street light taken down so we could remove two 65 foot tall trees, that were a danger to both our houses. By contacting Duke a few days in advance they sent their employee to us as scheduled on 6/7/2019 @ 9:00am, & lines were dropped, rolled up, & secured high & far from our lift area. We were then able to remove everything safely above the path where the lines had been. Because we had scheduled this work with Duke in advance, they had a team return that afternoon & reinstall the lines so the homeowner would have their power for house & much needed A/C. It was 90 degrees! Thank You Duke and Team.

I would give 0 stars if I could!!I have had Duke energy for 3 years now and yet again they want to rob me and the Community in any way they can! Since the new meter has been put in my electric bill is over $300.00! Mind you! My home is empty on the market for sell! Nothing in the home is plugged in what so ever. Now my bill is over 300.00 for a home that's using no electricity and they had the audacity to tell me I have a squatter in my home! No I'm st the home almost every day showing it and I can promise you there is NO squatter. Then stated i needed to get an electrician because they said I have an electrical problem! BS!! So i went and got an electrician... guess what... no electricity problems with my home whatsoever! And they are still trying to make me pay this bill!!! Absolutely disgusting company!!!!

Literally every single time I try to pay my bill online I have an "error" on my account that will not allow me to log in. I have changed my password it is not the password I change it everytime I get this problem before calling to make sure it's not the password. Still nobody seems to care to fix it.
