“I can’t say enough good things about this place. Very friendly service. We bought two of our cars there - great experience and love the cars. We are taking three cars for service here. I trust them, they only do what is needed, they don’t invent problems. I always get a ride home, so I don’t need to wait there. Service is always finished on time and they pick me up from home to get the car. Above and beyond!!”

“Took my sister’s car in for a tire rotation and a whomp,whomp noise, did the rotation in no time, and said it’s unfortunately just a normal tire noise, nothing wrong with it. They could have said anything or up-charged me, but that are honest. Highly recommend!!”
“Awesome place to take care of your car needs. I accidentally put my car key in the motorcycle shop next door and I offered to bring my spare key to them since the motorcycle shop was closed. They told me not to bring a spare key and that they would contact the motorcycle shop owner to unlock the door. Also my tire light was on and they realized it had a nail in it and patched it up for free. They were very detailed, professional and understanding. I definitely reccomend them.”

“If you are looking for a shop that cares about you and your vehicle look no further. We needed a service done to our vehicle and they happened to be the closest and I'm so happy because they have seriously been a Godsend. They are one of the only shops in my 22 years of car care that are totally upfront and has gone above and beyond with their service. Their prices are reasonable and they really care about their customers. In the past I've encountered money hungry mechanics who will take advantage of anyone they can anyway they can and they are definitely not one of them. Finding a shop who does good work and cares about their customers is hard to find. If that's what you're looking for look no further. As long as they're in business they have a lifelong customer with me.”

“Had my car towed to Apex after calling and speaking with someone. I don't remember the name but they were super friendly and willing to help. I had an issue with it starting but dying. I got a call a few hours later asking if my issues began after I added a pretty little thing to my ignition. Apparently my bling caused issues with recognizing the key. Whatever tech I talked to was amazingly friendly and said he popped off my bling and I was good. No charge. The experience was amazing without stepping foot in the door.”

“Needed a new set of tires on the jeep and after calling a few places belle tire had the best price for the tires we wanted so i asked when we could get in he said today, we were already in the parking lot, we parked and went in and after a few minutes of talking to jerry he took the keys gave them to the tire tech he pulled our vehicle around and before we knew it it was done not only was it fast but they cleaned the rim so we would have no bead leakes they also cleaned the hub faces so the wheel mounted properly back on the hub and would get a proper torque of the wheel, so if you are in the market for a new set of tires and want a clean friendly atmosphere and a tv to watch while waiting go to belle tire my over all experience was awesome i recommend this tire store to everyone.”

“I stopped into Will’s because my vehicle had a sudden drop in acceleration followed by severe engine knocking while driving to Michigan. I had called all manner of repair shops nearby and all told me they were too busy to check my car. Will’s was extremely busy too, but the guys took time to inspect my vehicle, provide a diagnosis and estimate with timetable. It turned out my engine was shot and they suggested reaching out to my dealer at home since the engine would likely be covered under warranty.
I appreciated that the mechanics here were up front and honest about costs and that they gave me a recommendation even though it would cost them business.
Good honest shop here. If I needed service in the area they would be my go-to.”

“You never want to start a vacation with car trouble. I arrived in Michigan City this morning. It was clear something was terribly wrong with the rear suspension. I looked for local auto repair shops on Google and took a chance. I hit the jackpot! Brian was amazing. He brought my car in immediately, diagnosed the problem, and ordered the part. I was still working out transportation when Brian stopped to assure me the part would be delivered and repair completed within 30 minutes. And he was right. Incredible! “Sunday, July 21, 2024. We stopped in Michigan City for a night en route to O’Hare to take a flight for our honeymoon. On the hour drive over from the reception, we noticed that our truck was making rattling noises and not handling well.
As soon as we could on Monday afternoon, we sorted through mechanic options and chose to try Dave’s.
The service person we dealt with was friendly, quick, and practical. Took us right away for a test drive. “Bad ball bearings, not safe to drive!” Talked us through our options and answered our questions. So we rebooked our flight, booked another night in Michigan City, and got the truck taken in overnight.
Even thought Dave’s already had a full schedule, they squeezed us in and we had the truck back by 9am the next morning. We made it to O’Hare just fine on Wednesday and the truck sounded and handled much better for a reasonable price.
I’m grateful Dave’s was willing to take on a pair of out-of-town honeymooners and make sure we arrived safely at our destination!”

“I was on a road trip 10 hours away from home when the truck broke down on the side on the road, it was 2 PM on a Friday and Monday was a holiday I was very nervous I’d be stuck there. They checked the car over and had to order a part for it which will take about a week, they even drove us to a nearby U-Haul place so I could have a way home. Thank you!!!!”
“I blew a tire just off the express way in the way back from Michigan. Called Music Towing at the recommendation of some INDOT workers. They came to my truck in less than 15 minutes and towed my truck to the shop. Bruce advised my tire was bot fixable, but had a used tire in the size I needed. They mounted and balance the new tire in mere minutes. I was back on the road in no time. The price for the tow and tire could not be beat and their professionalism and speed is something I've never encountered before. Being as I was in a bad situation, they took care of me like I was a family member, getting me back on the road, safely, and at a great price. I cannot thank this Shop enough. “These are really good people that you can trust!
I was driving cross-country from California to New York this summer when I incurred a flat tire and pulled off the road at the next driveway that I saw. It just happened to be the driveway of Chris's Car Care. What a great bunch of folks!
Though not a tire shop, they went above and beyond to help me. There happened to be a tire shop across the road so they first tried inflating my flat to enable me to drive over there for assistance. The leak was too big to retain any inflation attempts at all so they first called the tire place to make sure they had a tire for my vehicle. Then they jacked up my car to remove the tire, threw it in the back of one of their vehicles and we went to the tire shop where the young man that assisted me waited and chatted with me until the new tire was ready. What a fine young man with a bright future! We drove back and he placed the new tire on my car.
The kicker was that they didn't charge me a penny for anything that they did! I only had to pay the tire shop for the new tire. Of course I tipped generously for their trouble but that was mid-western hospitality and generosity at its finest.
