“I’ve visited coin shops in most US cities. If you are a collector, you know that coin shops can be divided into two categories… The ones where you feel welcome to browse and spend time, and the ones where no one talks and the owner is less interested in you. The Lost Dutchman shop is one of the former. Very welcoming, and the guys are so nice, especially with children and novices. I can tell it is important to this shop to foster the hobby. One of the best. (My 10 year old son loves this shop!)Adding one more comment…for those of you reading negative comments from coin sellers. A family member inherited a coin collection and asked me to go with him to sell some coins. This shop 1.) gave him a little more than I thought the coins should fetch, 2.) was patient as the collection was sentimental from a dear family member, and 3.) showed class by offering us a whisky shot and a toast to our departed family member.”

“Worth the drive to check it out! An absolute gem of a shop; had exactly what I wanted and more! Great selection of games, minis, Bandai models(They had several Perfect Grades on the shelf; never saw this in any other hobby store!), and so much more! Definitely worth stopping in, because you’ll definitely leave satisfied!”

“In store experience was 5 star, the staff was very friendly and informative. I purchased a power package engine, clutch ,carb, exhaust, water pump and anything else I needed. They assemble it on the spot while I waited, on my way to Oshkosh from Pittsburgh.”

“The staff is very friendly and was helpful in finding the product I needed. I called ahead and they double checked to make sure the product was available — before I made the trip to the store. When arriving they had pulled the product for me and it was ready for my purchase. I will be returning to purchase more great items this establishment offers for the fermentation community.”

“This place is humongous, but I've now gone so many times that I can efficiently navigate the maze. Yet even after over twenty visits, I pop in twice a week and there's always something new. Midland has everything from Victorian antiques to mid-century pieces to rescued and restored fixtures from bygone businesses. Add to that tons of collectibles, artwork, records, and books and you can pretty much find anything that you could possible want. At times, it feels a bit like walking through a museum. I find myself Googling the history and background of so much while I'm there. Beware -- Midland is no secret, and if you see something you like, don't hesitate. A gorgeous drafting table with a leather writing top was staring at me, and I said, "I'll come back and grab it next week." But of course, someone else nabbed it first. I'll never make that mistake again!”

“My favorite game store in the Indy area! The owners/workers are the nicest, most genuine people I’ve interacted with. Beginners in any game will find it both welcoming and inclusive. The shared knowledge and outgoing personalities of the players will have you eager to play anything in no time. Pricing is fair and transparent. As someone who is easily intimidated by a new atmosphere and more experienced players, I immediately felt like I was part of the group. A+ experience and I will definitely be coming more regularly!”

“Very helpful for a very non-model train person. My son's O scale Lionel switch dial was not working. I took it, the engine and the connector track in for diagnosis. While testing, I had a wonderfully pleasant conversation with the owner. He clearly enjoys "figuring it out". I was hoping to get a functional train back home since this comes out for my boys at Christmastime and they love their trains. My dial could not get going, so they found me a replacement device in the shop, rewired it to the track piece and sent me on my way for a very reasonable amount. They also kept the original dial for repairs. Definitely felt assisted and educated in a very kind manner when he could have very easily steered me in a more expensive direction :)”

“I returned A LOT of flowers to the east Washington St Hobby Lobby because my daughter changed her mind and wanted to have real flowers for her wedding. I was very impressed with the cashier, Kira, that helped me. She was very kind and incredibly detailed while she organized the return of over $700 worth of flowers. Hobby Lobby flowers don't have bar codes that can be scanned. Instead the cashier has to enter the prices manually, which seems outdated to me, but Kira handled it with patience and meticulous attention to detail. The shift manager and other cashier on duty were also very kind. I wish I remembered their names. I've shopped at Hobby Lobby for years and have always had good experiences, but never returned anything before.”

“This has been my go-to yarn store for years! I drive from Cincinnati 4 or so times a year and it's always worth it! I spend wayyyyy too much money when I'm here but I always walk out with wonderful yarn for several projects as well as a billion ideas!!!! It's an inspiring yarn shop! It's huge and can feel overwhelming but the yarn is organized by weights with so many different yarn companies represented!! There are local fiber artists represented as well as the bigger yarn companies. The buttons collection is incredible as well as needles and notions! I love Susan, the owner, and the staff!!!! Always worth a trip!!!!!”

“Love shopping at Michaels. All products are wonderful. The custom framing department put together beautiful frames for my Bachelor Degree diploma absolutely beautifulThank you Michaels”

“Not the shiniest Michael's but I had a positive experience and was happy that I was one of only a few in the store on Friday night. I was hesitant to run in and grab items and was fully prepared to stroll out if it was too packed but I felt really comfortable with the way things were set up. It turns out crafters don't show up in hoards on Friday nights at Michaels I was on a mission to grab some Easter decor and quickly found what I was looking for- garland, silks, and egg dying kits at the front of the store. You'll also find fabrics, wreaths, kids craft projects, lawn decor, hobby kits and so on. Again, not the newest Michaels but it got the job done.”

“They have a good amount of signed memorabilia in the store and it seems like even more on their online auctions. I've got multiple different things from this store and I'm very happy with my purchases and the price points! If you're in the neighborhood for great framed and signed pieces and just some good memorabilia check this place out!!”

“Been coming here for 10+ years now, and this place never fails to disappoint. Staff is friendly and helpful, the store is well organized and has lots of variety. Good location too, very close to Castleton mall. I’ve seen lots of businesses in this area come and go, but this place is always here. Highly recommend for comic lovers.”

“A smaller GameStop, but with tons of merchandise on display. If your looking for collectables this GameStop is definitely near the top of contenders. They had multiple racks of clearance t-shirts and other apparel as well if you're looking for reasonably priced nerdy gear!”

“I'd say this store is 70% TCGs, 10% boardgames and 20% mini and mini related. I don't play TCGs, but the appeared to have a very nice selection. They had most of the big names and some I didn't know. Not a very deep selection of board games, but a lot of new stuff with a few classics. Most of the mini stuff seemed to be painting related with a rather large collection of 3D dungeon tile sets. I'm a boardgamer, so while this wasn't the store for me, the staff was polite and friendly. The store was clean and well kept. They also seem to have another room (I'd estimate as big again as the store itself) that is set up to play card tournaments in. It looked like it was set up for a MTG tourney. If they expand the BG selection and open up the tourney room for boardgames to be played between tournaments, this would definitely be a store I'd visit more often.”
