“I came into the store looking for a specific color boot polish. Turns out it was discontinued. The gentleman running the store spent almost an hour finding me this polish. He successfully found some at the Evansville store. They sent me enough to last a lifetime. All this for a $7 sale.
I am so glad to see true customer service is still alive and well at Red Wing of Castleton and Evansville. I know were I will be buying my next pair of boots.”

“Support local!!Had a great experience today, my one year old will tell another story! ?I took him in to get sized for his first pair of Stride Rites. We were greeted immediately upon walking in and directed to the kid section.The very nice gentleman had us measured, helped us get the shoes on, was patient when my child had a meltdown, and checked out all in 20 minutes! It was quick and painless, and not rushed!Great customer service, and tips on how to put the shoe on and explained the return/exchange policy.We found our go to shoe store and will be recommending to family and friends!”

“I own a pair of handmade custom work boots. I’ve had lots of foot problems and these boots were life changing for me. I recently needed the first repairs to be made on them and I chose Gino’s. I am so thankful for Gino! He is a consummate professional, VERY personable and easy to talk to, and in my opinion he is cut from the cloth of the classic cobbler. Gino told me my boots would be ready in one week and they were! Not only that but I had expected to pay about 50% more than what I did. I got tired of buying cheap goods repeatedly every year or two so I saved up my money and spent $700 on these work boots. I also own a pair of calfskin brogues from England and I can’t wait to wear the soles down so I can bring them to Gino!”

“I went in today because I had just bought a pair of shoes somewhere else and they just didn’t fit right, so I was going to see about getting a different type of shoe. Instead of selling me on a pair of shoes I didn’t need, Tyrone helped me with a free foam insert, and taught me a different way to lace my shoes that would help them fit better. It’s a good store with a good selection, but the fact that they were willing to help me out even if it meant I didn’t spend money says so much about them. They’ve made a customer out of me for life with that. Definitely check the store out!”

“I've been a few times, and like all thrift stores, some visits have been better (for me) than others. It's a great size - big enough to have a large selection, but it's not overwhelming. Merchandise is clean, well organized, and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend.”

“Great store!! The worker was super helpful when I asked for a similar or the same pair of shoes as the one I was wearing.
I also got a pair of sunglasses. They're much, much cheaper than rayban, etc., and easily just as nice. They have a lot of options and you can try them all on to find one (or more) that you like.
Id return to any of the Runners Forum stores in the Indy metro for my future shoe needs.”

The associate with the number 070922 that rang me up at the register was AMAZING! She helped me pick out scrubs and was so helpful in putting them back! “The staff of this Boot Barn location have gone over and above time and again!!I recently took my late brother’s hat, which has been sitting in my closet for almost six years to them to see if they could do anything with the stain that was on it and get it reshaped. They said that did all they could but they couldn’t get it cleaned all of the way, but when I picked it up, it looked almost brand new. The best part of all was that they didn’t charge for all they did. Will most definitely return!!”
“I am visiting my parents in Indianapolis this Christmas and my Mom told me that she gets her shoes from SAS. She bought a pair of shoes for me for Christmas. They are so comfortable and sturdy. I have very painful plantar fasciitis and these shoes are definitely worth it! The customer service is excellent by the way ?”
“Came in today on a whim to look for new shoes and had my eyes set on a pair of Hokas, however, the brand itself never really has any cute colors for men. I’m an RN and I NEED something that will allow me to be on my feet all day but I WANT something that will pop/stand out haha. I almost left the store empty handed but I ended up looking in the CloudGo section and found the most beautiful pair of men’s shoes ever! The image is a stock photo, but you get the idea. Anyways, I tried them on and the size they had in display was ever so slightly snug so I sat and waited for the single employee I could see to work his magic and make his way to me. He was apologetic for the time it took and immediately jumped in to get me a size that worked better! The kindness, attentiveness, and friendliness this man radiated was infectious (plus he was a cutie!) and I will for sure come back to this store the next time I need to scratch an itch and get a cute pair of shoes :)”

“Small store but good variety of boots. All of their shoes are steel toed. Good for construction workers. There is also a small selection of steel toe tennis shoes and safety neon coats. Price is a bit high tho.”
“The young ladies in there working were awesome they were very friendly and beyond helpful with a great knowledge of what was or wast in stock definitely a 10+ for customer service, the store as very well organized sizes and colors were all in order and coordinated”
