“I came into the store looking for a specific color boot polish. Turns out it was discontinued. The gentleman running the store spent almost an hour finding me this polish. He successfully found some at the Evansville store. They sent me enough to last a lifetime. All this for a $7 sale.
I am so glad to see true customer service is still alive and well at Red Wing of Castleton and Evansville. I know were I will be buying my next pair of boots.”

We were greeted immediately upon walking in and directed to the kid section.The very nice gentleman had us measured, helped us get the shoes on, was patient when my child had a meltdown, and checked out all in 20 minutes! It was quick and painless, and not rushed!Great customer service, and tips on how to put the shoe on and explained the return/exchange policy.We found our go to shoe store and will be recommending to family and friends!”

“I own a pair of handmade custom work boots. I’ve had lots of foot problems and these boots were life changing for me. I recently needed the first repairs to be made on them and I chose Gino’s. I am so thankful for Gino! He is a consummate professional, VERY personable and easy to talk to, and in my opinion he is cut from the cloth of the classic cobbler. Gino told me my boots would be ready in one week and they were! Not only that but I had expected to pay about 50% more than what I did. I got tired of buying cheap goods repeatedly every year or two so I saved up my money and spent $700 on these work boots. I also own a pair of calfskin brogues from England and I can’t wait to wear the soles down so I can bring them to Gino!”

“I went in today because I had just bought a pair of shoes somewhere else and they just didn’t fit right, so I was going to see about getting a different type of shoe. Instead of selling me on a pair of shoes I didn’t need, Tyrone helped me with a free foam insert, and taught me a different way to lace my shoes that would help them fit better. It’s a good store with a good selection, but the fact that they were willing to help me out even if it meant I didn’t spend money says so much about them. They’ve made a customer out of me for life with that. Definitely check the store out!”

I also got a pair of sunglasses. They're much, much cheaper than rayban, etc., and easily just as nice. They have a lot of options and you can try them all on to find one (or more) that you like.

“Sometimes your guardian angel is a kind person working the closing shift at a mall. Jeannie was amazing - she helped me find a swimsuit when I missed my flight in the middle of an extremely difficult time in my life and the only thing I could think of that would make me feel better was swimming. She was extremely helpful and listened to what I needed and most importantly she was unbelievably compassionate. “Came in today on a whim to look for new shoes and had my eyes set on a pair of Hokas, however, the brand itself never really has any cute colors for men. I’m an RN and I NEED something that will allow me to be on my feet all day but I WANT something that will pop/stand out haha. I almost left the store empty handed but I ended up looking in the CloudGo section and found the most beautiful pair of men’s shoes ever! The image is a stock photo, but you get the idea. Anyways, I tried them on and the size they had in display was ever so slightly snug so I sat and waited for the single employee I could see to work his magic and make his way to me. He was apologetic for the time it took and immediately jumped in to get me a size that worked better! The kindness, attentiveness, and friendliness this man radiated was infectious (plus he was a cutie!) and I will for sure come back to this store the next time I need to scratch an itch and get a cute pair of shoes :)”

“Small store but good variety of boots. All of their shoes are steel toed. Good for construction workers. There is also a small selection of steel toe tennis shoes and safety neon coats. Price is a bit high tho.”
