“I had been with a different bank for 20 years and it was always like pulling teeth to do anything whether it was a loan or refinance. So my wife and I decided to switch banks and through multiple weeks of searching we decided on 1st Source, and man am I glad we did. We do most of our banking at the Dupont branch and they know me by name, that didn't happen at the other bank. We refinanced our mortgage no problem, we set up accounts, we opened an investment portfolio, and we have had multiple talks about my business and its growth. The staff is so friendly and we couldn't be happier with the switch.”

“I’ve been with this bank since the late 90’s. They’ve always treated me right. I like how it’s old school because I am too. They are always friendly and most of their employees have been for years, which is pretty uncommon nowadays. The best thing about this bank by far is that their mortgage loans are kept in house and not sold. That means you are going to be making payments to and dealing with the same bank for the life of your loan. There’s only one thing that I don’t like. For their NetTeller, they require those passwords that have several requirements (cap & lower case letters, numbers, & special characters) & I understand why, but I have a hard time remembering passwords like that. In order to recover your password, you have to call the main branch and have them reset your account so you can change your password. So if you need to check something in your bank account over the weekend & you forgot your password, you’re pretty much out of luck and that can lead to other problems in today’s world of instant everything! Other than that small issue, this is a great bank!”
