“Doctor Reed has been my vet for over 32 years. We contacted him on Monday June 6th because our dog dream girl what's not doing well she was having a hard time breathing she didn't eat for 2 days days and she wouldn't move she's 12 years old. We left a message at the office at 3 o'clock....The call wasn't returned until the office was closing at 553. And it was a text not even a call.i pleaded for someone to call I needed help I was afraid she was dying. We could not wait for there call so we call Dr Mahaffey in Valpo he advised us to go to Coyne Clinic in portage . Dr reed has all the medical history on dreamgirl he did surgery on her 9 months ago for kidney stones.... I trust Dr reed..I needed him to tell me what to do. I stand behind Dr Reed 100% however his system for returning calls for help is unacceptable.... I was told afterwards that his office is not an emergency clinic .I just needed a call back to tell me what to do... he is my vet... it was during office hours I needed him .....I read other reviews on this site and they complain about the customer service .so I am asking DR Reed to look into this matter about returning calls when people ask for help....I even asked the office to have Dr Reed call me..I hope he does. Dreamgirl died last night June 7th at home at about 730 at night after being treated on June 6th for possible heart disease at Coynn clinic...

The above review was written in 2021...I am very happy to report that Dr Reed has upgraded his telephone service and calls are handled more efficiently right after that review....you will recieve a text right after you leave a message if your call cannot be answered. They take all your information and within minutes you will get a response.. thank you Dr Reed for caring ..you are the best....”

“Abor View has been a great vet for my rabbits - and believe me, I think I tried just about every exotic vet in the state when I moved here. When it became necessary to put down my 9 year old Angora rabbit, it was the most quiet, quick, and peaceful euthanasia I've ever been a part of. When another of my Angora rabbits was injured, they went above and beyond to keep her safe. They were always friendly, and they really care about the animals. Thank you!”

“Came in for a new patient check in on my aussie who's a but anxious.
Firstly as you enter the waiting area is very clean and inviting. The staff made sure that animals didn't cross paths on the way to the room, which I felt was a nice added touch.
The vet tech was very professional and patient as my dog adjusted to the new scenery. The doctor we saw was doctor rock ( it might be spelled different ), but she specializes in behavioral for the animals. She was able to examine my dog despite his energy being at the max and provided tons of resources to help.
Cost wise I paid 75$ for the visit and 50$ for a fecal parasite inspection, both which I felt were fair prices.
Definately recomend vale park for any veterinary needs.”

“Dr Bloom and her staff are incredible. I’m emigrating back to Wales and she made sure my cat Margaret could emigrate with me. She brought her up-to-date on all her vaccines and completed all the necessary documentation for me to have my cat to fly with me and also the correct documentation for her to get through His Majesty’s Customs and to live in the United Kingdom. Her rates are more than reasonable and you can truly see how much each animal patient means to her.”

“This one is pretty good for reptiles now. They used to be worse but the employees know what they are doing now and have the supplies. I got a leopard gecko from this location. At first I just went there for supplies for a leopard gecko from a different pet store but when I saw the leopard geckos were nice and healthy and had healthy looking tails I just got one there. She is thriving now and healthy I'm still taming mine but that's usual when you get a young reptile that hasn't been handled.”

“.I had to take my dog here to help her over the rainbow bridge. A task I never had to do before .As a person who works in a nursing home and deals with people at the end of their lives, I was impressed with the level of care and compassion the staff gave me at a very difficult time. Very perfessional. Dr.Gast was so sweet I felt like I had family there to support me. This was actually the first time my Pippa came see them because the cost was cheaper then my regular vet.When I decide on another pet Gast will have all my business. “I made an appt through the pet app and was seen in a reasonable manner while at Coyne. I also liked that the receptionist mentioned future vaccines my pet needed beyond what we were there for. We got our pet up to date on all vaccinations till the end of the year, which saves me time. I appreciated that! Thank you.”
