Our elderly Weim has pulled a number of stunts where she’s ingested various items…they don’t suggest unnecessary procedures and are genuinely concerned with making her better instead of lining their pockets. “OMG!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️When I say TOP NOTCH services, I mean just that!! My 3 month old Chihuahua sustained a spinal injury at home from a fall?. I was referred to this hospital by the ER hospital because Dr. Keely works between the two hospitals and had saw my puppy while he was there at the ER hospital. The ladies at the main desk (I wished I would’ve gotten their names) were AMAZING, so very pleasant, kind & understanding. I’m sure they picked up on the state of mind I was in & at the same time, made me feel at home. The ladies treated my pup like he was one of their’s and apart of SLVH family with cuddles, compliments & TREATS?. Customer service always starts when you first walk in & I got just that!! Kyra the Physical Therapist Assistant was AMAZING as well. She greeted Kaliber(my fur baby) with cuddles & compliments. She took us to a room and made sure we were comfortable while we waited for Dr. Keely to come in.Dr. Keely is all around VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE & AMAZING!! I didn’t feel rushed nor fast talked when it came down to the entire visit. Dr. Keely took his time & was very gentle with Kaliber. He explained a lot from A to Z about the injury & the journey Kaliber is about to endure while on his road to recovery. Any and every question I asked was answered thoroughly. He showed me home exercises we can do before he starts physical therapy sessions( next week ). I was also told to do the exercises at home & in between sessions. He treated my Kaliber as if he were his own & took very good care of him. Kaliber will be going here for checkups and everything else for the rest of his life!! So, if you’re looking for a Veterinary for your beloved fur baby, this is the place for him or her. You’ll love it just like I do!! Thank you Southlane Veterinary Hospital!!”

A task I never had to do before .As a person who works in a nursing home and deals with people at the end of their lives, I was impressed with the level of care and compassion the staff gave me at a very difficult time. Very perfessional. Dr.Gast was so sweet I felt like I had family there to support me. This was actually the first time my Pippa came see them because the cost was cheaper then my regular vet.When I decide on another pet Gast will have all my business. “I had an appointment for my elderly cat at 5pm, this was on a day that they close at 7. I was getting him into their wellness program and worried about his current health. The vet was so informative and the staff even stayed until 730 just for my cat. Running tests, giving me information, and also giving me advice. They took their time figuring out the most affordable way for me to get my cat everything he needs, and they seems genuinely concerned for him. She even thanked me for adopting an elder (I got him when he was 12). They even called the next day to see how he was doing. Turns out my cat will be fine and hopefully we'll have another decade of memories together. I look forward to more appointments with them. It's refreshing after all the other locations I've been do, to have people actually tell me what's going and not just try to charge me for everything.”

“Have been going here for years. I like that it is no appt/walk in service. Also after several years my dog started having heart issues. I took him to Purdue Small Vet Hospital for more specialized testing. I have been doing follow up testing with Hobart, they send the results up to Purdue. They are very willing to work with Purdue and myself so that we can get the best care.”

“Very accommodating and vet/techs are always positive and playful with my dog. I'm glad they were able to see us as a walk-in when only taking appts. However, that info could be more readily available when I walked in as I wasn't informed until waiting a little while. Still great all-around which is why we keep coming back.”
