“What a great experience despite the fact that, unfortunately, I cannot remember the ladies' names! My necklace chain had two nearly impossible knots to untangle and even though it took a solid 20 minutes, they successfully untangled them! Initially, they said they may need to send it to the jeweler and would need to quote us, but that ended up not being necessary and the untangling was done for free! We also looked for a new chain and received guidance for which one to choose. My fiancé and I sincerely appreciated their patience when we said we would need time to consider – no pushing at all! Worth mentioning: this store always has impressive deals and sales happening. Thank you!!”
“I cannot recommend Costello's in Glen Ellyn enough! My stroller completely bent a silver engraved plate that wasn't mine like a taco. I was completely stumped on what to possibly do to fix it and was so nervous to tell the group it belonged to that I had ruined it. I brought it in to Costello and they accepted the challenge. They completely fixed it and now you would never know anything happened to it. Not only did they fix it, but the service and communication was great! I will certainly be going back there again and again!”

I was crunched for time finding a kurta for my buddy's wedding and Arti was super welcoming and put together a great three piece outfit. They were even able to do alterations within 3 days to make sure I had time to try it on a few days before the event. Arti provided $120 off of everything because we found one that fit and looked good all together. Highly recommend this place for Indian jewelry and clothing!”

I started pawning an item at $180, but with me coming back and grabbing the item back I’ve always gotten a bump up in how much the store will trust me with. Any pawn needs I recommend taking here.”
“This is one of the Ten Thousand Villages that has an annual handmade rug event, where you can come in and see the rugs. You might find handmade rugs someplace like The Dump in Lombard, however here you can be sure it's made by fairly-paid artisans and you don't need to wonder about child or slave labor. They often have interesting jewelry which is quite affordable; miscellaneous housewares; runners/napkins/placemats/aprons etc. and hand-knit hats/scarves/mittens. They even carry fair trade chocolate bars. It's a little bit like Pier 1 used to be but with fairly-paid artisans instead of mass merchandise. There's nothing here that you need, but there is probably something here that will make you smile. Staff is very pleasant and patient when you ask them to, say, show you every rug in a three-foot stack of carpets, and if you have something particular in mind, they'll help you find something similar.”

“Walked in after years of passing by and was greeted with some very kind people. Unfortunately they were not interested in the item I was trying to sell(no big deal at all) but I didn’t walkout emptied handed because they gave me a iPhone charger and block for free, which they didn’t have to do at all. I described what I was looking for and Jade stated that she had what I was looking for and quoted me a price. Upon arrival, Jade showed me the Cross and it was EXACTLY what I was looking for! I looked at the price tag and the price on the tag was higher than what was quoted. HOWEVER, Jade honored the price which she quoted me over the phone. I have never had an experience like that in a Pawn shop before! Not only did Jade handle our transaction with integrity, she was extremely friendly and very very helpful!
