“Today was the first time I stopped into Parkway Presents. Took me a while to see what your store is all about & I’m so glad I finally visited! Your customer service and variety of children’s products is outstanding. So great to get back to old school values where customers are appreciated and greeted with a smile. The sales associates were so knowledgeable regarding all the fun creative in stock items. Their suggestions were right on for what I was looking for. I’ll definitely be back with my 7 yr old grandson who I’m sure will love choosing a special toy he’ll enjoy that doesn’t involve screen time!

I would have liked to see even more things for men, most of them are focused on just gender. But if you come here again, you will find many things of decorations and accessories for you and the house.”

“I was kind of going between 4 and 5 stars, but thought to bump it up to a 5 because its a small business and exactly the kind of store you want in your community. The basic premise is that its a store that showcases Chicago based items and Chicago based companies. I really like it because its a great place to buy a unique gift for somebody. I would say most of the items lean towards "home goods", but if you ever need something for a housewarming party or need that last minute birthday gift, this place has you covered. If there is any "downside" is that their items tend to be a little bit on the expensive side. That really shouldn't be surprising as it is a small business supporting other small businesses. I also wish they had wider hours, but the foot traffic might not call for it. If you are looking for a cool Chicago gift for yourself or somebody else, I would highly recommend checking this place out! They are very nice and have some really good finds!”

“I would caution against letting this store gift wrap when they’re busy. The ornament I bought was broken on the corner when the recipient opened the gift. Of course she was too gracious to let me take it back since she really loved the ornament and chose to hang it broken. Better to take it and wrap it properly yourself.Update: 5 stars! The ornament was replaced and sent to the receiver. And the communication was excellent. They even corrected my mistake when I transposed the address. Thanks for great customer service!”

“Today was our first visit and loved browsing all the items and deciding what we wanted. Very nice selection of books at a very reasonable price. Picked up some mala beads (very reasonably priced), can always use more incense:). A nice beginners sized sound bowl for a nice price as well. We will definitely be back!!! Tashi was very accommodating.”
“I've wanted to stop in Neighborly many many times, only to be thwarted by parking in Lincoln Square, or the times I've been able to find parking it has been early and the store wasn't open. Yay for Apple Fest, I was able to stop on by! They had a small booth at Apple Fest but I'm glad that we were still there when the store opened because as you may imagine, there was quite a bit more in store. They feature local artisans and lots of Chicago merchandise, from clothing to artwork. I bought baby's first hoodie here because it's super cute with the Chicago flag and everything! The staff were really friendly as well and happily they take digital wallets. Next time I have guests, this is the shop I'm going to suggest to them whether or not they think they want souvenirs, because they have a lot of great stuff here. I will definitely return as well because they have some lovely items that can work for home or as gifts. I especially would like to find a onesie or t-shirt for my daughter that has the Ork Posters (who own Neighborly) neighborhoods image on it.”
“I love this local shop! They have the best gifts and the clothing is very comfortable. They use very soft tees and sweatshirts for their prints. Every time I stop in they have new offerings. “I love a good punny name, this one based upon the name of the neighborhood (Ravenswood). I've driven by Ravensgoods so many times; if it wasn't here before I moved to the neighborhood, it opened shortly thereafter. This very tiny shop has a variety of items that would be perfect if you need to pick up a gift for someone. They have candles, greeting cards, jewelry, and several baby items. I ended up buying a cute little onesie that has is designed to look like the Chicago flag but with hearts in place of the stars. it's so cute and I can't wait to put it on my little ones. They had several other onesies that were cute. I mentioned to the shopkeeper that I wanted to get a little bean onesie, and she mentioned they carry them but they sell out so quickly and the woman who she gets them from is backed up in stock.It makes sense to me because they're adorable! I didn't realize they had them here so it's good I could pick it up from here if I can't find it elsewhere. Parking is on the street BUT you're in luck because the Brown Line station is half a block away. There's also street parking on Damen and possibly the surrounding streets (not sure, but because it's near a train station I'd suspect it might be permit parking on the side streets).”
