“The slightly older gentleman who helped us sort out getting the tires filled was really pleasant to interact with. The staff at this midas seem honest, they looked at our vehicle, found exactly what was wrong, and didn't try and sell us anything we didn't need. They didn't charge to fill up the tires either, and had it done in what seemed like less than five minutes.
Additionally, they have great candy. I may be in my thirties, but I appreciate any establishment that has a little candy dish. Getting your car looked at is an anxiety inducing thing, and it's small friendly gestures like having a candy dish or a water cooler that can help ease that, even if just by a little.
We've been to this location a few times, it's always been quick, pleasant, and importantly honest. Other places we've been to have attempted to scam or upcharge, this place has not.

“I was in Chicago for the weekend and started having brake trouble. I called a few places who couldn't get me in on short notice. S&G was able to get me in the same day, Friday, and take care of the issues I was having with our van. They were great to work with and had my van fixed by mid afternoon. I thought the price for labor was very reasonable and extremely pleased with the work. The garage was clean and very professional. So thankful to find this place otherwise AAA would have had to tow me back to Ohio. I would highly recommend them and would certainly go back if we lived closer.”
“I have been going to Lumpp and Sons for five years now. I have three older cars to take care of. Sometimes I can fix the issue myself. But if I can't, I always go and see Patrick! He is a very honest businessman. That's why he has people like me going back there. He fixed three air conditioners on all three of my cars. The price could not be more reasonable. When I brought in a car when the break sensors were squealing, he changed the two that needed to be replaced. He told me I can get another half a year to a year out of them.
Also when I bring in the car the day before for the service and drop off the keys, most of the time he'll fix it the next day and I can pick up the car the next evening.
If there were more stars to give Lumpp & Sons I definitely would!

“There’s actually two shops. The one I went to was next door to a Firestone shop and they were fantastic. They were very respectful and they drive your car in for you . Once everything was checked I was invited to go out look at the condition of the air filter and he went through all the fluid reservoirs to show what was low and what wasn’t. I had asked for an oil upgrade and they thoroughly went through all of their options. I chose to get the “ Purple “ oil ( I forgot the exact name but it started with purple ). I have a Kia and their engines are quite noisy and the following day it seemed to be a little bit more quiet and felt a little smoother. I’m very happy with the service and the products that they have provided. I will definitely be going back again. I highly recommend them.”

Pricing was already pre-negotiated for me as I use the true car service. I would definitely recommend this dealership. They seem open, honest and very helpful.”
“I read these reviews a day prior to picking up my Model 3. I was very apprehensive due to the negative comments. I walked in not knowing what to expect. I went to a table where an employee was on a laptop. I told her what I was doing there and she went to the back to find me a person on the "delivery team". A short amount of time an employee named, Yvonne came out and introduced herself. She started working on my paperwork and told me my car was being sent to the detail shop on site. (I had shown up an hour early to my scheduled appointment time) I waited in the lounge area for around 45 minutes. During this wait, several other employees walked up to me and asked me if I'd been helped. They, like every dealership, had complimentary coffee, soda, and bottled water. After I waited, Yvonne came and checked on me and told me my car was almost done getting detailed. I walked around the outside of the dealership and saw that my car was finishing getting detailed. About 10 minutes later my car was outside, with my plates on it, and spotless. I looked over the car, she answered some questions I had, and it was painless. The service manager even came out and answered a question for me. We went in, did the 5 minutes worth of paperwork and app setup. I really don't understand all the bad reviews. I am pretty hard to please and my experience was very good. I was there for approx. 1.5 hours. Part of that wait was likely because I showed up early. I've waited at regular dealerships three times that long. Everyone was courteous and professional. I would 100% go there again for a vehicle. Ignore the bad reviews.”
