I called ahead to make an appointment and they had the parts ready to go on the day of service. Vehicle inspection was spot on and identified everything I expected plus a burnt out bulb I was not aware of.Vehicle was serviced quickly and I was back on the road the same morning.”

The work is done professionally, they listen to what you tell them, and the price is always reasonable.Update: now it's 2021 and my opinion is the same -- still great work at reasonable prices.Update: it's 2023 and I'm still taking my cars to J&C, still all good! J&C now also has a body shop if you need accident repairs.”

“I had a damaged Brassworks Model A Ford radiator to be repaired, and upon the advice of my good friend Jordon Beller, I brought it to A-Len.A couple short weeks later they called and said it was ready for pick up.When I saw it I couldn't believe it was the same one. They did such a beautiful job. It looked better than new! You would never have known it was damaged. The work was incredible and the attention to detail was spot on. Right after it was installed back in my 1929 pickup I drove it down to Starved Rock and back. They took the time to properly remove the old windshield, then prep and treated the windshield frame before installing the gasket seal and new windshield. They also took the same care to remove the dashboard and carefully replaced the instrument cluster. They provided me with exceptional service at a reasonable price.
