This review is not for the branch tho for Citio bank in general and how they treat customers. Having maintained a robust financial background, I've been a dedicated Citi bank customer for over 15 years. Despite this loyalty, the current treatment of customers has raised serious concerns. In a recent incident involving a check for my daughter's wedding expenses, Citi not only deducted the amount but also abruptly closed her account, citing suspicious activity without any prior notification. As we strive to resolve this issue and recover our funds, the lack of communication and unexpected actions are prompting me to reconsider continuing my banking relationship with Citi. The situation is deeply unsettling, and I hope for a swift resolution to this matter.

I know many of the online reviews were low for Citibank. However, a gentleman named Garrett at the Vernon Hills office was extremely helpful in working with me to solve a credit card issue that the 800 line (after multiple tries) was not. So kudos for his efforts!

Deposited $600k.. large amount between 3 accounts. Everything was miss handled internally and now I cannot receive my bonus or withdraw my money in the timeline I intended. Manager and staff refuse to email me any details to log this properly to persue legal recourse.They also are not giving me a single point of contact to help fix the problems their internal process and poor training created.Once this problem is resolved, I will never use this bank again and will make sure the entire timeline of their negligence is logged. They do not value large volume clients. Go elsewhere.

This bank is unethical. They will slap you with charges--not hidden charges, but ILLEGAL charges that are not described in their terms. Then, when you try to close your account, they will refuse and slap you with additional charges.

My experience at this branch was the worst. I've been a citibank customer over 15yrs and the level of customer service I've received has been absolutely horrendous. My accounts where compromised and from the level of customer service I've received you'd think it was my fault. Definitely considering another bank at this point.

Do not waste your time with Citibank! Blocked my account for absolutely no reason and did not ever care to inform me in any way. Spent several days and had to speak with at least 20 different people across the world, most of whom, had no idea what they are doing. In the end they could not tell me why my account was blocked. And no apology about wasting so much of my time.
