Now I am a bit of a wood enthusiast, and I could not believe the awesome and all powerful almighty selection they had at store, and when I went up to the employee and asked him how much the wood was for sale he told me it was free because I loved wood so much so I opened up all my orifices for all the wood. “I've been in the Chicago Ridge location a few times recently. There's one employee there (I wish I could remember his name). He's super tall, anyway, he's extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The manager there couldn't be bothered and was a bit abrupt, but I'll go back just for this gentleman's knowledge and help.”

“I visited this location on 22DEC22. The 5 stars for this review are relagated to the associate Nieve. I came into the store stressed and confused looking for an extension cord that likely doesn't exist. I requested for Nieve to help me find it, and they helped me as best they were able. They walk with me to were they sold cords with negative results. They then walked to a computer and put in the specifications for my extension cord, but they didn't sell anything like the one I was looking for. They even attempted to see if they had the snowblower in stock I needed to see if they could better figure out what kind of cord I needed. However, we weren't able to find any pictures to help figure out what cord I needed. Nieve thought it strange by the way I was describing it. However, they were respectful dealing with my later realized error and educated me in a non-condescending way and informed me why the item I was mistakenly looking for likely was wrong. Nieve went over and beyond and deserves recognition for their work ethic, kindness, and knowledgeability. They even gave me the right cord I needed before I left!”

“I had gone to Home Depot to pick up materials for my basement renovation. I was fortunate enough to get Misheka Hutchins to assist me. She was very knowledgeable. She suggested two things that I would need to complete the shower bed. She reviewed my entire list with me and answered all my questions. Misheka gave such excellent service to me that when I had to go back for more supplies needed by the contractor I willing to wait until she returned from vacation. She definitely made me feel like a valued customer and made Home Depot look like the place to go to. “One of the BEST Walmart's I have been at in the southeast suburbs. The manager's here are doing something right. EVERY time I have come to this location to shop, employees I have come in contact with have offered to help or assist. I shop at this Walmart at least once a week. The employees also greet you. It's also kept clean. I have stopped shopping at the Walmart in the town I live in because it is filthy and employees rude. I have NEVER experienced a bad employee at this Walmart. Kudos to the managers they need to show other Walmart's how to treat customers.”

I felt bad for her having to help an old man like me, you'd think some of the other garden employees would help but they were too busy standing around talking instead of working! Guess it hard to find good help these days, hope they keep her around, she appears to the only one working!”

“This one is located in Richton Park, Il. This one is close to my residents. So I would frequent this one the most. If I do go to any other Walmart I try to do early mornings to beat the crowds, this particular one I can grab what I need at any time of the day or week and leave right. Clean, no crowds, I find everything I need. My store for savings I will pass on Target.”
“Ted’s is hands down the best greenhouse on the south side of chicago. I’m a science teacher, avid plant enthusiast, and a long time customer. Many greenhouses either try or claim to be “the best” but I have not come across it’s equal by far, that includes plant shows/conventions. Honestly the closest place to their selection would be one of the conservatories. I sometimes go there just to look despite being a solid 25 min drive.I wouldn’t suggest any place else”
