“Big shout out to garden department employee Vicky, she helped me find the right mulch and stone for my garden, she also helped me load it onto my truck, pretty strong for a tiny girl! I felt bad for her having to help an old man like me, you'd think some of the other garden employees would help but they were too busy standing around talking instead of working! Guess it hard to find good help these days, hope they keep her around, she appears to the only one working!”

“I visited this location on 22DEC22. The 5 stars for this review are relagated to the associate Nieve. I came into the store stressed and confused looking for an extension cord that likely doesn't exist. I requested for Nieve to help me find it, and they helped me as best they were able. They walk with me to were they sold cords with negative results. They then walked to a computer and put in the specifications for my extension cord, but they didn't sell anything like the one I was looking for. They even attempted to see if they had the snowblower in stock I needed to see if they could better figure out what kind of cord I needed. However, we weren't able to find any pictures to help figure out what cord I needed. Nieve thought it strange by the way I was describing it. However, they were respectful dealing with my later realized error and educated me in a non-condescending way and informed me why the item I was mistakenly looking for likely was wrong. Nieve went over and beyond and deserves recognition for their work ethic, kindness, and knowledgeability. They even gave me the right cord I needed before I left!”

“Ted’s is hands down the best greenhouse on the south side of chicago. I’m a science teacher, avid plant enthusiast, and a long time customer. Many greenhouses either try or claim to be “the best” but I have not come across it’s equal by far, that includes plant shows/conventions. Honestly the closest place to their selection would be one of the conservatories. I sometimes go there just to look despite being a solid 25 min drive.I wouldn’t suggest any place else”

Now I am a bit of a wood enthusiast, and I could not believe the awesome and all powerful almighty selection they had at store, and when I went up to the employee and asked him how much the wood was for sale he told me it was free because I loved wood so much so I opened up all my orifices for all the wood. “I've been fixing up my parent's yard (fencing, flowers and pots,love seat,etc.) and had to buy yard tools, building tools, paint, etc. I probably spent around 2 grand already. Some stuff I ordered online and shipped to the store and some I bought at the store. Stuff I had to order came in when promised and was just what I needed. If I shopped in the store it was easy to find help, whether getting my wood cut or looking for an item. All the employees, whether it be at the order desk or cash register were super friendly and helpful. Shout out to Lupe at the pro desk and Betty the cashier (sorry, don't remember other names, but they were all great). I really like doing business at that store and will continue to do so in the future.”

“I had gone to Home Depot to pick up materials for my basement renovation. I was fortunate enough to get Misheka Hutchins to assist me. She was very knowledgeable. She suggested two things that I would need to complete the shower bed. She reviewed my entire list with me and answered all my questions. Misheka gave such excellent service to me that when I had to go back for more supplies needed by the contractor I willing to wait until she returned from vacation. She definitely made me feel like a valued customer and made Home Depot look like the place to go to. This incredible young men name Bret provided me with outstanding service. He helped me pair and match tiles to a sample I provided. He also made several calls to different stores in search of a tiles. Bret was also honest when he did not think a tile would match. It has been a long time since I have received this kind of service.
