They made us pay for equipment before they surveyed the house. Turns out they can’t hook up at our house. We returned the equipment to the streator location and they said we should have a refund check come in the mail in about 2 weeks. It’s been 2 months and we still haven’t received our check in the mail. The last guy I talked to about the tracking the check said “it’s almost there. Just a few more days” and that was over a week ago..

Hey everybody, do you like an Internet service that's reliable and consistently active? if so, you're looking in the wrong place. Mediacom has to be one of the most overpriced unreliable, pathetic excuses for an Internet service provider. I strongly recommend them if you like, throwing your money away and having spotty Internet service. The Internet works it's fine however, you'll be lucky if you go an entire day without a service outage. They seriously lack any awareness of problems with their network, I've been having sporadic outages with my Wi-Fi for the last week and they only just realize there was a problem today. I eagerly anticipate the availability of a different Internet service provider in my local area, anything is going to be an improvement. Hell I'd even go back to dial up at this point.

My bill went from 160.00 to 290.00 with no notice. I have been a loyal customer for almost 30 years....no discounts, nothing. Canceled my TV service. So much for loyalty.

Been using Mediacom for 5 months and 5x the internet went down...We called..and called.Got absolutely no where with them..I use a machine in my home that requires a strong internet connection for medical reasons and this is not acceptable service when were paying top dollar for this.Beyond frustrated.

The Absolute Worse Unreliable Cable and Internet services there are! Mediacom Customer Support is Useless and Rude. I've used Mediacom for 30+ Yrs never, Ever have I been a Satisfied Customer with Rates Continually Increasing!! Thieves, with POOR SERVICES!!

Horrible internet.. I’ve lost internet connection 7 times in one hour. Literally the only reason I have them is cause Comcast isn’t available in my town.

I ordered units to extend my wi-fi and they were promised to be delivered on 2/5/22 as this was my only window. They were delivered late on 2/7 so I canceled the appointment and returned the units.Subsequent to this, I lost my On Demand function on my remotes. Two times I chatted with your service folks and they said they would turn it over to a technician and he would call me if an appointment was necessary. I never got a call back.Then this morning I lost the Titles on my Guide so I called back and complained about this and the On Demand function again which was never resolved. She was able to get my On Demand function fixed but not the Guide Titles. She scheduled a repairman to come over in a week.She advised me that it may cost me $49 for his time, even though I insisted I had done nothing different to cause these problems.This is a completely abhorant level of customer service. I wonder how Mediacom is TV advertising to become your Business Partner on technical solutions, and they cannot even facilitate their base TV/Internet consumer business

Been dealing with my internet going out 50+ times a day for the past 6 months. They’ve sent techs out to our house 10 times, we’re told every time that everything looks good and there’s nothing wrong with it. I was also told multiple times by the technicians that maintenance would be sent out if the problem continues but we keep getting told that maintenance isn’t needed and there’s nothing wrong with it according to the supervisors. Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had and a total waste of $80 a month. Would give 0 stars if I could.
