If they don't have a part, they will help you find one on eBay from a reputable supplier. The battery on my phone had to be replaced. I brought in a replacement battery and they soldered the new one on free of charge. Thanks, guys!”

“I requested an estimate to replace the battery on a tablet. This business is very responsive. I went on site to have the work done. The representative analysed my device and was up-front that replacing the battery would not resolve the issue. They promptly told me it was the charging port and I could replace the motherboard, but the issue would eventually happen again. I appreciate them being honest and would certainly try them again.”

“Roman Sokolov and his brother are special gifts to the Chicago area if you're in possession of medium to hi-end amplifiers and equipment. I've gone to them for years with an array of issues. Starting with a repair on the volume pot on my college 1980 Aiwa integrated amp that I was sure was destine for the recycle bin. I've got a higher end Tandberg power, preamp and FM tuner set that he keeps like new for me. Be ready to see more piled up old electronics than you've ever seen in one place. But Roman is organized and first rate. You won't find people doing their work anymore.”

“I came to this location because I filed a claim through Asurion from my phone provider. I was slightly frustrated about the claim process from Asurion, as it has changed multiple times and has not been as easy as it was in the past, but coming to this location took all of my frustration away.Within an hour from filing, a technician from uBreakiFix River North called me to find out exactly what was wrong with my phone and when I was planning on coming in to drop it off. He was extremely friendly and assured me that it would be a quick fix. The same tech that I spoke with on the phone was the one who completed the drop off process and again, extremely friendly and let me know that I would have my phone back that same night (which Asurion CS reps and AT&T did not do).Overall, what started as a stressful situation was solved easily because of the technician at this specific location. I was 100% ready to cancel my insurance plan with Asurion/AT&T and switch to Apple Care had it not been for this location.”

They truly believe in customer satisfaction and that's exactly how I felt when I left, completely happy and impressed. I had an automatic starter and alarm installed. I wasn't even expecting to get the car back the same day because it's an older car and felt it would take more time. To my surprise, it was all done in a couple of hours, and may I also say they are very reasonably priced. “I had put off fixing my personal computer for over two years because of the anticipated cost and the time that it would take to get the job done. I am beyond happy that I was able to find this place!!! My Dell computer was not charging, I was able to give them a call and explain the problem. Not only were they able to identify it and provide a lower than expected quote, when I brought my computer in, they were able to fix it within 2 hours!!! They have many of the parts on site. “I took a pair of JBL 4401s here after Saturday Audio Exchange recommended Van L. My 4401s never seemed to work right. John and co are extremely knowledgeable and he gave me a demo of his in house brand (which sound great). I dropped off my speakers and had them back, repaired, in 2 weeks. So far they sound great. Van L is a friendly shop and they know what they’re doing.”

“Grandson cracked the screen on his ipad tablet. Made him go in and talk to the people himself so he could learn from his carelessness. Employee was very nice to him. Fair charge without trying to upsell and had it repaired in about 3 hours. I tried calling the Geek squad, since they are Apple authorized, and couldn't even talk to a human to get a ballpark price. So glad we wound up at 1st Comm. Great people to deal with.”
“I have never given a review before, but the honesty, advise and practical approach I received at Tech City is definitely worth my time to tell its potential customers about.I have a mini iPhone 12 which has numerous cracks in the back even tho I have an OtterBox case (that's a whole other story). I was advised by At&T to go to UBreakIfix, they quoted me a price of $400 to repair the phone. Chadi from Tech City looked at the phone and quoted a price of 37% of the other quote.But, Chadi then told me that if I put some tape on the back it will be fine. So instead of spending $400, it cost me two cents for tape. It is something in this day and age to have an honest approach to business. Hats off to Tech City, job well done. I will always be a customer.”
