“My best boy Nano was at end and it was time. Your heart is breaking and it's the worst day ever. But this place is the place to go when you're facing the inevitable. There's a big room dedicated to this with seating and a comforting environment. They provide last treats for your furbaby. You are never rushed. They'll help you pick your choice to put the cremains in if that's what you want. They give you as much time alone as you need and when you're ready, they're ready, and they will come in and talk you through it. I didn't know how much his paw prints would mean to me until later in the day when I opened it and looked at them. I'm so grateful for that and for the staff and the environment provided here. I'd recommend this place when you're facing your worst day too.”

When Dr. Walsh was working there, he sent a referral to Purdue Veterinarian Hospital for my dog and need of surgery, I never asked him, but he did it anyway, knowking my dog needed the surgery asap.
Yesterday,I needed more antibiotics for my two dogs with kennel cough, not a problem! Very helpful office and staff.

They always manage to control the situation and get what needs to get done done. Incredibly grateful they deal with situations like that so well and professionally. “My Chewy has been going to the same vet for 11 years. So when I moved here from out of state, the thought of finding a new vet for him was terrifying. I was very pleased with Deer Run and the staff. And so was Chewy. He didn't tremble at all. And it was obvious he knew he was in good hands. Everyone was sweet and friendly. I can't say enough great things about our experience. Dr Van Winkle was calm and friendly and great with my "baby." We both left very happy.”

“Our vet, Dr. John Shudell is fabulous. Spends time with you, listens to any concerns or questions. He's easy to talk too. Answers everything completely. He worked for the humane society for years and has a wide range of experience with animals and their health issues. When applicable, he offers lower cost, practical solutions, rather than jumping straight to the expensive alternatives. Our dog had tartar on her teeth and he recommended an over the counter teeth cleasing gel to eliminate it, rather than jumping straight to dental cleaning surgery, which other vets in the past have done. It's easier on the dog and less expensive, to hopefully avoid the need for surgery. Always recommends what's best for your pet. His love for animals shows in his handling of your pets and their response to him. After our vet retired, we were so lucky to have found him. Would definitely recommend him for the best care for your pets. We've been going here since they opened and couldn't be happier.”
“I really like the care I received here. I brought one dog in when he passed away and they were kind to me and understanding of the situation.
My other dog I brought in today, I had a good experience. The front desk staff were nice and friendly. After my visit, they inquired about how my dog was feeling, so they do care. They clean the rooms between patients too. John took care of us during our visit and he was very nice and knowledgeable. He didn’t get upset or anything when I asked questions. And he seemed to really like my dog and it made me feel more comfortable trusting him with my dog. The bill was also way less than I expected.
He tested for heart worm and I got my results back the same day. I will definitely make this my clinic ?”

When I pull up, he gets to going crazy because he knows he’s about to get a bath, but when he goes in the room, he knows something is going on the last visit, Rex needed need his shots for everything even a clear up his skin condition. After the shots and the medication, my puppy is back to his old self thank you, Doc.”

“I went there for first time and really cared for my dog. my dog had bad infection on his stomach. my dog is on antibot to heal and pain medicine so he isn't in pain. my dog feeling better already he is going bathroom more and I can tell my dog is slowly getting better. the groomer shaved to close on my dog and he was really red they told me would heal but never did. I tried get my dog in to other vet I had but doctor only works two days a week. they don't work around my schedule. Hanover the doctor sees doctors almost everyday and fits my schedule better. everyone there is really nice and didnt blame me from not bring my dog in sooner but I still blame myself should have switched vets sooner. I believe in power of Peter and I have been praying to god heal my dog. To heal my dog cost is 1100 dollars so I am paying what I can afford and every week will do another treatment on my dog. My credit isn't good do I have to do it this way. Too bad they don't have payment plans so my dog could get better faster. The place is nice and clean and is really nice inside I was surprised how nice it was. This is my dogs new vet doctor. I recommend this place 100 percent.”

“EDIT: unfortunately quality of service at this location has gone downhill. I came to this location, for help with my puppy who was severely ill. She was practically dying. This vet gave sailene, and an antibiotic and sent me on my way, without a second thought. She ended up passing away. Another puppy, seemed to be having the same issue. I took the puppy to a vet hospital in Elk Grove Village, where it was determined that puppies simply needed to have dewormers from 2weeks+, which this vet never explained. Also, they saved the puppy's life. As for this Saul Village location, it's feasible simply for affordable yearly visits for shots. However, I WOULD NOT recommend this location for more serious issues.
Animal Medical center is honestly the greatest location. Although they are very understaffed, I love the vet there. She is super honest and affordable. Rabies shots are also very affordable. The staff there is very friendly as well.”
