“I love this place, it's awesome. I know this sounds funny but I'm from GA and we don't have these stores down there. Tractor Supply is great but Farm & Fleet has a lot to offer and they have their own brand of clothes that I really like.”
“Love love harbor freight tools. The best thing you can do is join their Insider club. Get better discounts and free items. I own quite a few Bauer brand tools and they work great.”

“I was very satisfied with Kobyco from the sales meeting with Roy, through the installation process. I will be ordering again with them as I need a couple more replaced. I will refer them to anyone that I know is considering new windows.”

“My husband and I went into the Machesney location looking to get pricing and purchase fencing supplies. We didn’t know where to start. Not only was Sarge knowledgeable, but he was also kind and friendly. He made a stressful situation much easier to deal with, and I left the store feeling confident about our purchase.
Thanks so much, Sarge! You're a true asset to the Home Depot team.”

“Clean store, organized, well stocked and friendly staff. Great local hardware store. It’s nice to be able to go in and get what I need. Oil lamp fuel and a big selection of chimneys. Will for sure be coming back more frequent for items.”

1580 West Lane Rd, Machesney Park“Needed some round grill grates that nobody seemed to have for Memorial Day grilling. Had already been to several stores. Finally went to local Home Depot. Found one Weber grate right away. But the slot for the other was empty. Friendly staff person saw me milling around and asked if he could help! Unsolicited. Wow! Showed him the second grill grate size. He immed went to get a huge step ladder. Grill grate was not located in the first place way up high where he initially looked. Was on the other side, again way up high. This was a lot of work. It required moving that huge ladder from elsewhere and then again on site there. (He had been unboxing in another aisle beforehand.)He cheerfully brought down the second larger grill grate, asked if I needed anything else. Thanked him for his help. Thought I might browse a bit. Clearly this Home Depot is decked out.Decided to look for lighter fluid. Price was amazing! Strangely it was about half of the local, big box, discount store. (Hmm.) Got one. Will return the much more expensive big box version. (And they had zero round grill grates in their store.)Accomplished a lot, in a hurry, very pleasant shopping experience! Amazing. And FYI, I use a rollator. It hurts and is tiring to ambulate. The thoughtful, unsolicited assistance from this young man today was heart-warming. Truly appreciated.”

“I absolutely love the flower section at Lowe's! They have a fantastic variety of plants that cater to all kinds of gardening needs, whether you're looking for bulbs, perennials, or annuals. One of the best-kept secrets about Lowe's is their clearance section. It's a goldmine for savvy gardeners like myself.
Here's the deal: Lowe's often puts almost-dead flowers on clearance. While they might look sad and wilted, these flowers are a hidden gem. With a little TLC, you can nurse them back to health and enjoy beautiful blooms the following year.
For bulbs, you can simply plant them as usual. They may not bloom right away, but with proper care and patience, they'll come back strong in the next season. Perennials are another great find in the clearance section. These plants might look like they're on their last leg, but they have the resilience to bounce back with some love and care. Just plant them in a suitable spot, give them some water and nutrients, and watch them thrive.
Even annuals, which are typically expected to last only one season, can sometimes surprise you. While they might not come back year after year, grabbing them on clearance means you get to enjoy their beauty for a fraction of the cost, and who knows? Some might even self-seed and pop up again next year.
In short, Lowe's flower section is a gardener's paradise, and the clearance section is the secret garden waiting to be discovered. Happy gardening!”
“Old school hardware store. Love the fact that they have just about anything you can imagine. If you’re in a pickle and need some supplies fast, this is the local place to check out. Staff is very friendly and helpful as well.”
