“On 1/16/24 I called to get an appointment and I wasn't expecting it to be the same day. I was a little spectacle when the front end female said they do a thorough look over the vehicle - I said please don't add any fluids (I'm very pick what goes in my car). She probable thought I was rude or crazy lol.Over all I was very pleased with my visit and was not expecting such great service (they even cleaned my windows for me). I didn't feel that they were out to overcharge me; they initially estimated $400 for my complaint, but after their actual inspection, they said I didn't need XYZ and only charged me $200 for what I actually needed. “On 03 November while Enroute to Branson, MO, 12 miles South of Rockford the truck’s alternator failed and left us stranded just off I 30 and Hway 72. AAA assisted us on contacting Marks Auto Service. After being towed to Marks our truck was worked on almost immediately. They had an alternator in stock and replacement began immediately. While waiting, we found the waiting room and restrooms very clean. The staff was very attentive to my questions. After repairs we resumed our trip. Several days later we received a text inquiring if we had any problems with the truck and did we arrive safely. I responded no problems and we’re having our usual good time. This Was the first time we had ever been contacted by a repair shop for follow up and it was much appreciated. We started our trip from our home in Wisconsin and without Marks responsible to our problem the outcome could have resulted in a very long repair process. Refreshing to know that there are companies like Marks Auto that care that much for their customers.Service: Electrical repair”

“Don't disconnect dashcams unless you're going to reconnect them. Better yet, just don't disconnect dash cams. When a plumber comes to my house, they don't disconnect my security cameras. That system is there for the protection of my vehicle. You have no reason to disconnect it if you're not doing anything wrong.”

“Long story short I bought in 4 rims that needed tires and they put the wrong size tire on and they didn’t fit in the wheel well. Partially my fault for not checking before I left. “Absolutely wonderful experience. Prior to coming here I have had quite a few bad experiences with car dealerships and purchasing vehicles. They restored my faith that car dealerships can still be honest and care about their customer. Matt was wonderful. He was very patient with us. He answered our questions and allowed us a gracious amount of time to explore our options. He wasn’t just trying to sell a car or upgrades. He even gave me options of thinking about it and coming back a different day if we needed too. I appreciated as the consumer not feeling pressured into a major decision. He asked questions about our needs and wants and pointed out and educated us on things I would not have even considered. The gentleman that appraised my vehicle was incredibly reasonable on the trade in of my current vehicle and Greg in the finance department was efficient and great. We spent a lot of time here and everyone was very accommodating and kind. At the end of the day we didn’t buy a car because of the car. We bought the car because of our experience. I highly recommend them over their local competitors, going anywhere else would be your loss.”
