“The staff have gone above and beyond for me and my animals. I just moved to Evanston last year in 2023 and found them. They took on my three geriatric pets (2 cats, 1 dog). With 1 cat having renal disease and the other being diagnosed with cardiac disease not long after Fox started caring for them. In the haft a year that we have been going to Fox Animal Hospital I have felt welcome and always left fully informed of my pets care. Recently, 1 cat passed and I couldn't be more impressed with FAH and their staff as they cared for my cat and me during our final appointment. They were respectful of my last wishes as well. “Have been bringing my dogs here since I was a little kid and the building was a lot smaller and it was on the side where the parking lot is know. Started seeing Dr. Windmill and Dr. Maves. Both excellent veterinarians! The building was knocked down and the new facility was built to offer more services. Dr. Maves retired and the staff is polite, caring and considerate to what your pets need. Have seen all the doctors and have no complaints what so ever. Dr. Felt is awesome we have our dogs see her now and she takes the time to examine, diagnose and discuss with us anything about them. If we have any questions she takes the time to answer them and makes sure we understand everything. I would recommend them to anyone to bring their pets to for excellent care.”

“I have pet tree frogs and it has been an exhausting venture to find a veterinarian that will take them. Midwest Bird and Exotic Animal Hospital went above and beyond in providing care for my one of my sick frogs recently. Not only were the front desk and vets extremely friendly but addressed all concerns and created a comprehensive treatment plan including trainings for what to do once we got home. We have now made this our new primary vet, not just for the emergency we recently had! Highly recommend!”

“I used to work as a receptionist for a dog daycare, so I've had to talk to different vets all the time all over Chicago. Now, no longer a receptionist and I have my own puppy; Preiser was one of my top 3 to go to. I HIGHLY recommend, they have a wonderful staff and receptionists. The nurses are so kind, and treated my puppy with so much love. Like, I'm pretty sure my dog loves the vet now. They helped refer me to a specialist and helped me make sure she got the best care. Pricing wasn't terrible at all. The doctor called me personally to discuss my dog which I thought was really thoughtful. Also the lobby is so cute, and welcoming. Sometimes lobbies at vets can be rough, like they can smell, be dirty, have strange colors, and have uncomfortable chairs... but not here. It's so cute and cozy, the sun shines in, there are magazines, comfy sheets, and so much space if you have an uneasy or aggressive pet that needs space from other pets. Also I have to point out that all the plants have their own names it's adorable”

“I have gone to a plethora of different veterinary hospitals where I was not satisfied with their services and pricing. With the amount of positive reviews this clinic has received I decided to give it a go and honestly it’s been the best experience.The clinic is very small but everyone whether front desk, vet tech or veterinarian is very friendly and helpful. The only veterinarian that saw my pup was Dr. Franklin and boy oh boy was she amazing. This was the first time I have encountered a veterinarian who not only cared for the patient but the clients as well.For reference, I went in with my pup since she had some crusty looking skin on her hind legs. Being the worrisome dog mom I just had to take her in in case it was something more serious. Dr. Franklin checked her out and laid out ALL options of what we could do about her skin. She talked about least invasive to most invasive options, mentioned rough pricing, as well as gave her input on what she would recommend doing with what she saw. Dr. Franklin did an amazing job explaining everything and really took the time to answer any questions/concerns we had.Additionally, the pricing of the clinic is truly not bad and it makes it worth while knowing your pet is in good knowledgeable hands.I would recommend this veterinary hospital especially if you are looking for a smaller and quieter office.”

“I took my almost 12-year-old Siamese kitty to Animal House yesterday for a checkup. I'm embarrassed to admit that he had not been to a vet since 2018 - 6 years ago! I had previously taken my pets to Blum in Lakeview, where I lived until the fall of 2018, and just hadn't gotten around to finding a new vet in Lincoln Square before COVID hit, which caused many clinics (including Animal House, I think) to limit their services to only emergency cases for a while. Anyway, I appreciated that the staff at Animal House were not judgmental at all towards me when I contacted them to establish care for my cat after 6 years. Both during the appointment booking, and the appointment itself, all the staff I encountered were kind and professional. They mentioned what kind of tests they thought he should have but checked with me before running them, which is more than I can say for some money-hungry clinics I've been to in the past who do a whole lot of tests without telling you and you don't find out until you get the bill. The clinic was clean and not nearly as noisy as many vet clinics are. I also appreciated the Feliway-sprayed towels Animal House offers to help calm your pets while they're there. I'm pleased with the service Tino and I received and will return to Animal House again to establish care for my other kitty.”

“We just moved here and one of our cats got sick. Northshore squeezed us in and we discovered she had terminal kidney disease. I refuse to see one of my babies suffering to prolong their life so after a day of saying goodbye we returned to have her put to sleep. Every single member of the staff was gentle and caring and made a terrible moment more bearable. I can't thank them enough for their skills and their compassion. They also didn't soak us when it came time to pay the bill and I'm grateful for that too.”

“I had the most lovely experience yesterday at Riser. Everyone was friendly, kind, and interested in caring for my dog. there wasn't one specific thing that made our visit great, it was every LITTLE thing. Dr. Sachen took time to talk to me about Lila's bloodwork, expected vaccines, and prevention prescriptions. I felt like a real person, not just a patient's mom! Unfortunately I didn't get the Vet Tech's name, but she was wonderful! she asked me all the questions you want to be asked about your dog-baby. She was very present, enjoying her job, and just being HUMAN. In the chaos of our current world, the time I spent at Riser was like a mini-vacation! Thanks to all at the Riser clinic!!”

“We are newer to the area and have two cats and no vet. I called them and they got us in right away (Other vets I had called in the area before them said I had to wait a week to see my cat Elery) she could bor wait a week to be seen as she had fecal matter completely stuck to her rump, which can be really unhealthy and cause infection, it was bad and she was super uncomfortable and it came on all the sudden. Dr. Lawrence and her staff were amazing with us in Elery. The clinic is clean and the staff and the doctor extremely professional and caring. I was completely stressed and they made me so comfortable and of course Elery too. When all was said and done even the fee was reasonable especially for the ask and the last minute getting us in and being so wonderful. We Thank and appreciate all of you there and thank you for the welcome Card we received in the mail after visiting. You are wonderful! If you looking for a great place to bring your pet I highly recommend!!!”
