“Lavitt animal hospital treated my husband’s family dogs since they were puppies and they always received excellent care. It is a small place, which was perfect for our anxious dog Chip, especially as he got old, blind and hard of hearing. It was nice knowing he’d see the same staff every time. The receptionist Cheryl is delightful, Riley is great and you can tell she loves animals.When it came time to let our sweet 16 year old Chippy boy down, Dr. Roush provided such a smooth and peaceful euthanasia procedure. My husband and I were obviously dreading it, but we couldn’t believe how comfortable and at peace we were afterwards. It was quick and painless, and Chip was at ease which was an extreme relief. Dr. Roush and Riley treated Chip with great care, and were gentle with us and made sure we knew everything that was going on. It honestly made the entire day so much easier and we are forever grateful for how beautiful our last moments with Chip were.Thank you Lavitt staff for years of excellent service. I recommend anyone to trust them with your fur babies.”

“Our vet is closed on Wednesdays and we had an emergency with our puppy of course on a Wednesday. I called North Center in a panic to see if they would help us out. Dawn was so incredibly kind. She let me have my panic attack (and cry on the phone with her), she empathized with the situation, and then she got us right in. The entire experience, from start to finish, was excellent. I'm seriously considering switching vets to them for this reason.”

“We are newer to the area and have two cats and no vet. I called them and they got us in right away (Other vets I had called in the area before them said I had to wait a week to see my cat Elery) she could bor wait a week to be seen as she had fecal matter completely stuck to her rump, which can be really unhealthy and cause infection, it was bad and she was super uncomfortable and it came on all the sudden. Dr. Lawrence and her staff were amazing with us in Elery. The clinic is clean and the staff and the doctor extremely professional and caring. I was completely stressed and they made me so comfortable and of course Elery too. When all was said and done even the fee was reasonable especially for the ask and the last minute getting us in and being so wonderful. We Thank and appreciate all of you there and thank you for the welcome Card we received in the mail after visiting. You are wonderful! “I've only gone to Wicker Park Veterinary for a few months and they've already done so much for me. My rescue Walter is usually petrified of the vet, but has now tried to drag me over to the vet just to say hello. They were patient when he was really agitated getting his blood drawn and worked with me to figure out the right medication to have calm visits.Most recently, I woke up realizing I'd left his anxiety meds at mother's house in Indiana. “I’ve been going to BLVD Logan Square for a few years now with both my cat and my dog and I absolutely adore them! Both my pets don’t like the vet. The vets there are incredibly understanding and really take so much time and effort to make sure both you AND your pet are calm. If you told me the vets there take therapy classes, I’d believe it.I have never felt rushed or like my pet’s health was compromised. My vet, Dr. Sapato, even took time to research into the food I am feeding my cat to see how it might impact his digestive issues and what the brand’s manufacturing process is. I have never had a vet do that before- it means a lot to me!When I first started bringing my cat there, I was nervous because he was a verified A-hole. The vet reassured me that her cat too was kind of a jerk and so she knew my worries and knew how she could help him be calm at the vet. Whatever she does works because he actually leaves calmer and less stressed than when we go in! He lets her hold him too- and he only lets me do that usually.My dog has issues with men, so I appreciate the number of female staff members here too and no one seems to be judgmental about that! He needed to have a TPLO surgery and the orthopedic surgeon was a man, but he was also so understanding of my dog’s fears and so kind in how he treated my dog.Lastly, they are VERY understanding of budget constraints. They make sure you understand pricing, and give options if you’re struggling with money. They are also so kind and up front about other lower cost places you can go if their prices are ever higher. I never feel pressured to spent more than I can, and also never feel like my pets health is compromised when I have a strict budget.Basically, as long as I’m in the area, I’m coming here!”

He ended up having to go a second day for treatment, and they were so kind the whole time. I have been here many times over the eight years I have lived here, and they have always been this way. I received an email with our pet's information to review and to also check in. When I arrived , the receptionist was so kind . All of the staff were nice and caring. Of course, I am always happy with Dr. Beloiu . She is so calm and reassuring and our dog is immediately put at ease. When I scheduled the appointment a $65 charge was required , and it was applied to my bill. Overall, very happy with the entire process and service.”
